1966 Mustang Coupe. Only the roof, doors and quarter panels are not new. Car was stripped to bare metal and built from the ground up with all new parts. All original frame rails are still in this car. They were perfect. DSS racing 410w, AFR CNC ported Race heads with 2.08 Int valves, Comp cam .579 lift hydraulic roller, 10.75:1 compression. Runs great on 92 octane. Mighty Demon Carb, Victor Junior Intake. Nothing but the absolute best in this engine. 1"3/4 inch ceramic headers and full 3" exhaust from headers out to the 3.5" Custom tips. Sounds amazing! Dyno'd at 520HP! Ford Racing 6 speed Tremec transmission, Curry 9" crate rear with 3.89:1 gears. SSBC 4 wheel power disc brakes, 3.5" aluminum driveshaft, Shelby Style Under ride traction bars, Edelbrock shocks, Global West Suspension front and rear, Flaming River Rack and Pinion with Stainless steering column, Foose 17" Nitrous Wheels on Khumo Tires 245/45/17. Shelby R style front valance with 3" Cowl Hood, Custom 4 point roll cage, Autometer Gauges, Push button start, Holley Electric Fuel Pump and regulator, MSD 6AL ignition, Pony Door panels, 3 core radiator with Electric fan. new windshield. I could type for an hour of what I have into this car. Well over $30K invested. Brutally fast and fun to drive! Should do mid 10's with sticky tires. Was an original Texas car bought from an estate sale. Was in a garage from 1990 to 2007 when I bought it. I have hundreds of pictures and receipts for everything I bought for the car. Life event forces sale and breaks my heart. I love this car! Its is done right! It does need very minor finishing on the interior (kick panels and rocker trim installed) and a few minor paint issues. For this car to be perfect, I would touch up a few areas but I am very critical. Will send detailed pictures of areas requested and video for serious buyers. Car can be shown at any time near Nashville TN. Buyer responsible for shipping.

Additional information added 4/2

I have been getting many questions so I decided to add more info.

Car has a Painless wiring harness, all new light bezels and lenses, new rear bumper, gas tank with sending unit, 90% braided stainless steel lines, JPC hydraulic clutch kit with Zoom Clutch, Fluidyne radiator with electric fan, custom mini console, 5 point harnesses, Scat Bucket seats and mounts, Lokar Emergency brake and cables, braided front brake lines, SSBC proportioning valve, Jegs Vacuum reserve can hidden behind fender, rear mounted battery, custom grill (not installed in pictures) new glove box liner, headliner, rear seat upholstery, carpet, kick panels, dash pad, door handles, rear view mirror, side view mirror, all new weatherstrips, trunk lock cylinder, ignition switch, MSD starter saver. Ford racing starter, March polished pulley kits with A/C set up (AC NOT INSTALLED YET) and on and on!

The window trim needs to be installed as well as a few minor trim items. The car is down to fit and finish and polish. It has been road tested for 250 miles and I would drive it to any show without a worry.

I am a certified aircraft mechanic who is meticulous with details.

Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads

Sun, May 31 2015

Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. Autotrader Logo "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," said Brian Moody, site editor for Autotrader.
