This 1927 Ford Model T Touring in its final year of production and has everything!
I will have better pictures of the beautifully restored body by the weekend.
This car is a solid Touring Car and has all the pricey upgrades that the serious T-drivers want and need. This car's first frame-off  restoration was in the 60’s and again in the last few years (2007-2013)  so she is fully ready for more driving pleasure.  Has a clear Wisconsin title in my name.   I'm going to tell you right now, if your looking for allot of flashy chrome on this T, you will not find much if any on this car.  This car was painstakingly put together with only Nickel Plating.  Nickel Plating is not as flashy as chrome but definitely more era appropriate.

This car has over $30,000.00  in restore & receipts neatly collected in a binder that will be included with the car.

Car was restored with the original Fenders, Hood, Splash Apprins and Running Boards.

When taken down and resprayed, the auto body man I used said it had the original primer in the area where the fenders

mounted to the body, this is how he knew it was original Henry Ford Steel.

More info on this great Warford auxiliary transmission. This great transmission offers a few handy benefits for Model T. It gives you 6 speeds in the forward direction and 3 speeds in reverse.  It also gives a real neutral and completely disconnects the drive train. It also has an under-drive, a direct-drive and an over-drive option. The overdrive allows the engine to stay quiet and cool at higher speeds and allows comfortable cruising at 40-50 mph.

This great car starts right up, even in the coolest of days. Car runs well and has plenty power when needed.
The brakes grab well and the Warford shifts smoothly and makes running at 40+ mph a treat and keeps the engine quiet & cool at higher speeds.  You can keep up with traffic in this car and stop easily, all of which make driving this car a safe drive. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.  I am happy to help load the car & arrange transport if needed.  I will  accept a bank-to-bank wire transfer within 7 days.
If needed, I can deliver for $1.50 per mile in an enclosed trailer.  Maximum 500 miles round trip.
I have about 1 bike and 7 other antique cars and trucks, if interested in getting more than 1, I will combine the
enclosed shipping for the same rate.
I can fit 2 cars or trucks and 1 bike into a single load, 3 max.
Call, email or text with any questions.

Recharge Wrap-up: BMW tests AdBlue pumps, Drivr is a Tesla taxi service

Thu, Jan 22 2015

BMW is testing AdBlue pumps in Germany. AdBlue fluid is used to remove NOx from diesel exhaust, and it is stored in its own tank within the vehicle. Filling AdBlue is easy enough for drivers to do it themselves, and with the proliferation of diesel vehicles in Europe, a pump filling system could make more sense than using the current hand-held containers. BMW is testing AdBlue pumps at three fueling stations in Munich and Berlin to help develop further AdBlue dispenser technology. Read more at Green Car Congress. Drivr Green Personal Transportation is a Tesla taxi service in Cincinnati. Two former employees of Tesla Motors founded the startup, which bills itself alongside ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft. Customers book a ride online, and are picked up by a Tesla Model S. The ride costs $2.50 per mile with a $15 minimum. Drivr currently operates three cars with seven drivers, with plans to lease another 10 Teslas and employ up to 30 drivers. The service will also be expanding to Denver soon, according to the website. Learn more at the Drivr website, or read more at Clean Technica. Ford is opening a research and development facility in Silicon Valley. The Ford Research & Innovation Center, which will be located less than three miles from Tesla Motors headquarters in Palo Alto, California, is expected to be one of the automotive industry's largest R&D facilities. "We're driving to be both a product and a mobility company, and ultimately to change the way the world moves," says Ford CEO Mark Fields. Read more at Automotive News. Law firms advising Fisker Automotive have been denied a $2.50-million fee enhancement in the car company's bankruptcy. Brown Rudnick LLP and Saul Ewing LLP were denied the extra fees, as a Delaware bankruptcy judge ruled there is "no evidence" that the firms provided anything more than what they originally expected. In denying the fee enhancement, the judge cited a "very high bar" for such awards. Read more at Law360. Junkyard Gem: 1993 Mercury Topaz GS Sedan

Sat, Aug 13 2022

As long as the Mercury brand existed — a period spanning the 1939 through 2011 model years — nearly every Mercury sold in the United States was more or less a redecorated Ford model. The Torino had its Montego sibling, the Crown Victoria had the Grand Marquis, the Cougar was based on everything from the Mustang to the Mondeo, and so on. Naturally, when the folks in Dearborn developed the Ford Tempo compact, a Mercury version had to be created. This was the Topaz, with the official launch of both cars taking place on the deck of the aircraft carrier often referred to as the USS Decrepit. You can't make this stuff up! The Tempo/Topaz, also known as the Tempaz, has largely faded from our collective automotive memory by now, since it broke no significant new engineering or styling ground (this story would be much different if Ford had only put the amazing straight-eight "T-Drive" Tempaz powertrain into production) and didn't have any endearing features other than being a cheap domestic competitor to the Toyota Corolla and Nissan Sentra. Still, close to 3 million Tempazes left North American Ford and Lincoln-Mercury showrooms during the 1984-1994 period. As you'd expect, most of these disposable cars disappeared from both the street and the car graveyard long ago. It takes a very special Tempaz for me to break out my camera while I'm patrolling my local wrecking yards; generally, this means an ultra-rare all-wheel-drive version or at least a very early model in super-clean condition. Today's Junkyard Gem is neither, but I took one look at this spectacular Bordello Red crypto-velour-and-slippery-plastic interior and recognized that this was no ordinary junkyard Mercury. It appears that Mercury had dropped the idea of clever names for base-grade seat fabrics by the time of the Topaz, referring to this stuff as just "cloth" in all the brochures I could find. That's too bad, because Mercurys had cool names for upholstery (e.g., Chromatex) in the old days. The interior is in very good condition but the steering wheel shows substantial wear, so I think this is a high-mile Topaz that got meticulous care from its owner or owners. Ford used five-digit odometers on these cars until the end of production, however, so we'll never know if this reading indicates 65,404 miles or 365,404 miles. The body is very straight, but there's some nasty corrosion behind the right front wheelwell.
