JUST BUILT! 1923 T-Bucket With EVERYTHING You Can Imagine! Over $35k Invested!

1923 T-BUCKET LOADED WITH ALL OF THE GOODIES! PROFESSIONALLY AND FRESHLY BUILT! ALL BRAND NEW FROM FRONT TO BACK! 383/400+ HP STROKER MOTOR!

We all hear these stories from time to time. A guy or girl, gets a settlement, wins the lottery, inherits a truck load of money, and one of the first things they do is they run out to have one of their dream toys built. Well, this is one of those cases. Approximately two years ago, a gentleman went to a reputable shop and said this is what I want, "money is no object". A year later and around $35,000 dollars, you have this T-Bucket. It was finished towards the end of Fall in 2013. At which point it had to be sold. So it has sat all winter, tucked away in a climate controlled garage, awaiting Spring. The unfortunate side is that even as Spring has hit, it still has not seen much of the Sun.

The craftsmanship of this T-Bucket is phenomenal. The paint and pin striping that was done on this T-Bucket are by far some of the best work that I've seen in quite some time. If you look closely at much of the finishing work, you will quickly tell that this T-Bucket was built correctly. The entire T-Bucket consists all of all new parts. Nothing used was implemented in the build of this Hot Rod. Less than fifty miles have been put on this T-Bucket since it was completed. Here is a list of what it consists of:

  • 383 Stroker Motor With Edelbrock Aluminum Heads

  • Edelbrock Tunnel Ram Intake

  • Dual 450 CFM Holley Carburetors

  • Electric Water Pump & Fan

  • MSD Ignition, Distributor, Coil, & 6AL Box

  • Turbo 350 Transmission

  • Ford 9" Posi Rear End

  • Hair pin radius rods

  • Coil Over Shocks

  • Chrome Shocks in the front

  • Mickey Thompson E/T Streets

  • Spun Aluminum Fuel Tank

There are definitely plenty of T-Buckets out there to choose from. Unfortunately though, there are not that many freshly restored ones that haven't been ran through the ringer or patched together. With our T-Bucket you can take comfort in knowing that you are getting a new car that hasn't been on the road long enough to even be considered misused nor abused. In short, there is NO AGE to this car so if you're wanting your very own newborn, you've found it. I will be evaluating all reasonable offers and I will in fact sell the T-Bucket early as we do have it for sale "locally". I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. I would also like to add that I am usually on the phone from 7 AM until about 12 AM so you are always welcome to call and if I do not answer, just leave a message and I will return your call immediately. I know from my own experience with purchasing cars online, most of the time it is very difficult to get someone on the phone and to obtain the information you need. So I try to always stay on top of emails and phone calls. I do have a clear title for this T-Bucket. As always, good luck and happy bidding!

Thanks,

Shawn

5 classic trucks and their polarizing modern revivals

Sun, Mar 3 2024

EVs are helping eliminate Detroit's gas-guzzling problem. Some revivals of gas-powered classics are getting the EV treatment.  But not every revived model looks exactly like its original counterpart. We're in a new era of hulking Detroit metal, and you can thank EVs. Americans can't get enough of their big, beefy trucks and SUVs. But for many years, some of the biggest gas guzzlers fell out of fashion as gas prices rose and emissions regulations tightened. But in the past few years, some of the most iconic American truck nameplates have been brought back to life with electric motors, like the GMC Hummer. In other cases, as with the Ford Bronco, improvements in engine technology and more interest in rugged adventure vehicles made a gas-powered revival possible. Even some revivals that started as gas-powered, like the Chevy Blazer and the Jeep Wagoneer, are now getting electrified spinoffs. (Even if they don't always look quite as sleek as their original inspiration.) Here are side-by-sides of five classic American trucks and their modern counterparts. The Jeep Wagoneer 1975 Jeep Wagoneer and 2024 Electric Jeep Wagoneer SStellantis After a long wait, Jeep released its revival of the classic Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in 2020. Starting later this year, an electric version of the luxury Jeep SUV will join the Wagoneer lineup. The Chevrolet Blazer A 1973 Chevrolet Blazer and a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EVGetty Images, General Motors The Chevrolet Blazer was first rebooted in 2019 as a sporty family SUV. The modern Blazer shares zero resemblance to its boxy, off-roading older sibling, but it has still managed to become one of Chevy's more popular SUVs in recent years. The Blazer EV came later, and was one of the first models GM built on its new Ultium battery platform. The Hummer A Hummer H2 and the 2023 Hummer EV pickup truckGetty Images, General Motors Once the poster child for Detroit's big, bad gas guzzlers, the Hummer got new life as an electric pickup truck in 2021. The Ford Bronco A 1971 Ford Bronco and a 2022 Ford BroncoFord Motor Co. After a rouge group of engineers and designers inside Ford spent years trying to breathe life back into the Blue Oval's boxy off-roader, the Ford Bronco was finally resurrected in 2020 amid a rise in popularity for rugged adventure vehicles. Ford recalling nearly 5,700 2014 F-150s for power steering issue

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Ford is recalling 5,675 of its 2014 F-150 pickups over an issue with the electric power steering system. There haven't been any injuries or accidents due to the issue.
Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Autoblog that the "electric power-assisted steering and motor position sensor gear were incorrectly installed by a supplier," leading to the recall.
While the recall is larger on the surface, it's important to note that only 260 trucks have been delivered to customers. The remaining pickups are currently en route to dealers. The affected vehicles were manufactured between May 26 and June 19.

Petersen Museum celebrates 50 years of Ford Mustang with special exhibit

Mon, May 5 2014

If you're a pony-car enthusiast, this is your year. Not only has Ford introduced an all-new Mustang, but it's also the 50th anniversary of the original. Celebrations and commemorations have been scheduled throughout the year, and not the least of them is the latest exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Called "Mustangs Forever: 50 Years of a Legend", the exhibit includes Mustangs from every generation of the iconic pony car, including the 1965 convertible Ronald Reagan drove during his California gubernatorial campaign, a 1971 Mach 1 Cobra Jet, a 1974 Mustang II, 1993 SVT Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and a 2006 Shelby GT-H. Special sections focus on motorsports, aftermarket modifiers and limited-edition models. The display opened on Sunday with the Mustang Madness spectacular and will run for the next six months, but if you're not heading to Southern California within the coming half-year then you can scope out all the action in our live gallery of photos above.
