This is an all original 1927 Ford Model T. It has the original black paint which has many chips, nicks and dings, but it is original and still shines better than some new cars. It has the original interior which does have some stains and a few spots the material has worn through where the driver sits, but it is original and complete. It has the original motor which starts easily and runs great and doesn't smoke. It was rebuilt by Ford sometime in the 40's, but it is the original, numbers matching motor. It has a new wiring harness, but it also comes with the original. It has a new fan belt and a new intake gasket, but they both look aged and correct. It has all new tires and tubes including the spare and they almost no mileage on them, they are mounted on the original wood spoke wheels..It has a new Optima red top battery and an after market battery shut off for safety. It is truly an amazing piece of history, which is in amazing shape. The car spent it's entire life in Texas so it is extremely solid. It has the original wood floors which are rot free and there are no rust holes, just some surface rust. It is equipped with an extremely rare "locking steering wheel" by Seng from 1927. The wheel has the original key, which unlocks the steering wheel so you can't steer. It is a very neat accessory from when the car was new and it works perfectly today. The wheel also has a horn ring on it but the 2 wires are frayed on it causing it to not work, but it has a newer push button which operates the horn. The visor has been recovered in period correct material, but the top is all original with the exception of an old patch. The lights all work including the interior map light, the horn works as well. Everything works great. The windows roll up and down with no problems. The doors open and close without any sagging or squeaks. The car was stored away properly where it was safe and dry for around 40 year, and was only recently pulled out properly as well so nothing was damaged and everything works.

2014 Ford Fiesta ST priced from $21,400* [w/poll]
Tue, 26 Feb 2013The 2014 model year brings a whole host of changes to Ford's Fiesta B-Segment fighter, the most important of which (to our enthusiast eyes, anyway) is the addition of a potent new ST model. The US-spec hot hatch was first shown at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show last November, and thanks to Ford's build-and-price site, we've now learned that the Fiesta ST will slide in at $21,400 when it goes on sale later this year (*not including $795 for destination).
Under the hood of the ST is a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline-four good for 197 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed manual transmission. Ford hasn't released performance data on its pint-sized puncher just yet, but know that these numbers make the Fiesta ST ever-so-slightly more powerful than the larger Volkswagen GTI while returning an estimated 34 miles per gallon on the highway.
Elsewhere in the lineup, the standard Fiesta also gets a smattering of improvements for the 2014 model year, including a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine and revised exterior styling. Pricing for the 2014 Fiesta sedan starts at $14,000, with the five-door model adding $600 to that number (again excluding the $795 destination fee).
2015 Ford F-150 enters production
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Ford has given the F-150 a dramatic makeover for 2015, switching to an aluminum body that helps reduce weight by about 700 pounds. Because the truck is dramatically different, Ford also had to change the way it makes the F-150, so we went inside its sprawling factory in Dearborn, MI, this week to see the Blue Oval's new manufacturing techniques in action.
The company has added 850 jobs at the site and upgraded its stamping and tool and die facilities. The body shop is also modernized, and it has been fitted with 500 new robots that join the structures together. The first 2015 F-150 rolled off the line on Tuesday, and the trucks will begin arriving in dealerships in December. Get a closer look at the F-150's unique assembly process in our video.
Ford paying $750 million just to close plant in Belgium
Thu, 21 Mar 2013According to a report from Reuters, Ford is shelling out $750 million in a severance deal that will see the automaker close its facility in Genk, Belgium. The automaker reached this deal with the 4,000 hourly workers employed at the plant last week, which means the company will pay out an average of $187,500 per worker.
Ford is still negotiating with the 300 salaried workers at the factory, which currently produces the Mondeo sedan. All told, Ford expects to lose around $2 billion in Europe thanks in no small part to the region's ongoing economic downturn, and two more plants are scheduled to be shut down in Europe this year. The company will log its $750 million payout under "special items" for this quarter.
As you may recall, Ford took a similar path in the US back in 2009 when the domestic market took a spill. Back then, the company shelled out around $50,000 per employee with at least one year of experience, plus either $25,000 toward a new car or an extra cash payment of $20,000. It would seem the cost of closing plants in Belgium is a much harder pill to swallow than in the States...
