Here is a 1926 Ford Model-T convertible. It was purchased about 5-6 years ago and ground up restored. It runs great, has been driven in many parades. Owner is selling due to health reasons and can no longer drive. It is a nice clean car, it has a new convertible top, four new Lucas 4.40/4.50-21 rubber tires. Motor and transmission have been gone thru and rebuilt. Has a clear title. Probably less than 1000 miles driven since restored. New paint about 3 years ago, Leather front and rear seat. Has four doors. Chrome front and rear bumpers.Inverted well over $12,000.00 in restoring the car. Very modest starting bid with no reserve. Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort
Fri, 24 May 2013Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
Ford calling in 28k Edge crossovers over fuel line leak
Thu, 16 Jan 2014A problem with the fuel line on certain examples of the Ford Edge has prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall. The issue revolves around the metal housing on the fuel line pulse damper, which was apparently improperly manufactured in the first place and is prone to crack in certain circumstances, leading to a fuel leak. And as we all know, a fuel leak is not a good thing.
The problem affects model year 2012 and 2013 Edge crossovers equipped with the 2.0-liter engine and manufactured between September 2, 2010 and April 25, 2013 - a total of 27,933 units. Although the Lincoln MKX is closely related to the Edge, since it isn't offered with the same engine (to which the problem is related), the recall does not include the premium-badged version.
