You are bidding on a 1909 Ford Model T Touring, Serial number 3182, this is a very early Model T born on May14,1909. The engine number matches the body number. The car has it's original babited drive shaft along with the babited rear axle. The front axle is equipped with the one piece spindles. The engine runs on the hot shot battery which I installed but not on the mag I believe that the magnets need recharged. I have the build record from the Benson Ford Archives which tells me the original color was green which you see under the chipped red paint. The records also state that the car came without a top, windshield, front headlights, and speedometer, The car has all these items and they were probably were installed by the dealer as this was the custom until Henry figured he was losing money.

I am starting this auction at $38000.00 with no reserve and this is for the car only and not any of the parts which have not been installed. I will include all of the parts that are for the car that are on the table along with the set of new gray tires (which are no longer available) and rims bolts etc. with the buy it now. California Man Reunited 33 Years Later With Thunderbird

A California man was at a loss for words when he was reunited with his prized 1964 Ford Thunderbird on Tuesday, 33 years after it was stolen from a bar parking lot. Gary Chartrand could hardly believe how well his old Thunderbird held up in the last three decades. The odometer had only added about 1,000 miles from when he last saw the car back in the 1980s. "A few bumps and bruises but boy, not much changed," Chartrand told KOVR. Chartrand bought the car as a present to himself after finalizing his divorce from his wife of 10 years in 1981. It disappeared one night from the parking lot of a Sacramento bar where he was working. Police found Chartrand's car 750 miles north in Washington State. Ford offering $10,000 in incentives for new F-150

Not two months ago, Ford posted lower-than-expected first quarter earnings partly because of production issues with the new F-150, but raised the year's profit outlook thinking the production issues were over. A month later we got word of more manufacturing problems due to a shortage of frames, leaving the company unable to fulfill demand. The problems not only ate into Ford's bottom line, but also its market share, since the F-Series truck has been the best-selling vehicle for the past 33 years. Inventory still isn't where Ford wants it, and won't be until the end of September. The pipeline is stocked enough, however, that Bloomberg reports The Blue Oval is putting up to $10,029 on the hood in some parts of the country, and only on certain trims, as a way to stay competitive with rival truck makers. Ford lost 100,000 units of production during the changeover of the two plants that build it. The frame shortage compounds that, which has led to F-150 sales that are down 2.4 percent through the first half of the year. F-150 market share in June 2014 was 33 percent, this June it was 28 percent. Meanwhile, sales over at General Motors and Ram are climbing - Chevrolet Silverado sales were up 18 percent year-on-year in June. Ford said its incentive spending on the F-150 is down overall this year, and its average transaction price of $44,100 remains the highest in the segment.
