Model A Ford Pick-up 1928 29 30 31 Roadster Hot Rat Rod Huckster & Trailer Pack on 2040-cars
Noblesville, Indiana, United States
1930 Cowl, Doors, Hood< Fenders, Radiator, ( Chassis and drive train is also 30 I Think) motor is stuck. The Cab back is a 1928 1929. Not really too much rust thru for being 84-85 years old. The shortened bed is Rusted thru on the bottom and channels. "The trailer goes with the A with the buy it now price". It is a 2" ball. Electric wench, Tool Box And ample tire storage on the double post storage rack. There is a good Model A under the seat floor pan (Not Pictured). A rusted but useable Model A full length sub frame that is not in picture. There are a few other parts still in the barn to dig out. The last picture #18 is of a roadster behind the door, rear side (right and left side provided) panel that can be used instead of the 28 cab rear panel(I realize the cab back is tall) and it is pretty nice one so, the roadster wins my vote. It can add about 5" more leg room, Doing a Roadster ( Note the over lap mock up on the lower 28 Bed Corner) This is clear Titled as a Model AA truck. I will provide a bill of sale also.. The 16" rims should clean up nice. The body and bed needs secured before traveling. . I will help all I can and it can be stored for a reasonable agreed upon amount of time as long as it is paid for. All funds must clear the bank before pick-up. Zip 46060 Will sell truck separate from trailer, but contact me by E-mail, also add note in Bid/offer space. Or Call 317-508-1605 THIS IS FOR TRUCK AND TRAILER COMBINED Thanks

Facelifted Ford Focus caught testing in the cold
Wed, 18 Dec 2013It's that time in the life of the Ford Focus to get a little work done - a nip-tuck here, some Botox there. Yes, Ford is testing a facelifted version of its global C-segment entry, which first hit markets in Europe and North America in May 2011.
Like the touchup on the Fiesta, expect Ford's gaping grille to make its first appearance on the Focus. Our spy photographers point out that this is likely to be a more comprehensive makeover than previous spy shots suggested, based on the additional camouflage seen here on the front and rear ends of this five-door model. New head and taillights are also likely in order, as are changes to the front and rear fascia.
The interior was also snapped and features a cleaner design with a larger central display. Other than that, it looks like some buttons have been changed, making us think most of the Focus' updates are limited to the exterior.
eBay Find of the Day: 1970 Ford Torino King Cobra prototype
Wed, 08 May 2013Over the last decade or so, competition in NASCAR has led to some pretty funky looking racecars. And when the sport was still up and coming, the tight competition actually led to some interesting production cars. The Dodge Charger Daytona and Plymouth Superbird are perhaps the most well-known cars of the sport's "aero wars" era but the Ford Torino King Cobra might have been the most memorable of all, if not for some different homologation rules established in 1970. The Torino King Cobra never made it to production and never competed in NASCAR, but three examples exist including this one now for sale on eBay.
Designed as a successor for the aero-tuned Torino Talladega, the Torino King Cobra has a sleeker front end with hidden headlights and a sloped nose. As the story goes, NASCAR made a rule change in 1970 requiring 3,000 of the vehicles to be produced, which was substantially more than the 500 units required by the previous rule. One of the three prototypes ever built - and the only one built with the Boss 429 engine - is now for sale on eBay with a starting bid of $500,000. With a little more than three days left on the auction there are still no bids, but in the grand scheme of things this seems like a relatively fair price for a rare piece of automobile and racing history.
USPS releases hot rod stamps to speed up your delivery
Sun, 08 Jun 2014After one of the worst winters in recent memory for much of the country, summer is finally here. It's time to drop the top, open the sunroof or at least put down the windows and take a long drive. The United States Postal Service is celebrating the season's sun in automotive style with two new hot rod Forever stamps.
Both stamps depict classic '32 Ford hot rods. One shows the car from the front at a low angle in red (pictured above), while the other depicts the car from the back in black with flames running down the side.
To introduce the new stamps on their first day of availability, the USPS went straight to the source at the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals in York, PA. They were unveiled by Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe, Car Crazy host Barry Meguiar and NSRA Special Events Director Jerry Kennedy.
