Mileage: 4,350
Make: Ford
Trim: GREY
Model: Model A
Drive Type: rear drive
This Model A roadster is an older restoration that has history spanning from the 60's to the 80's. It is a rumble seat car. It has a history written up by the person that did started the restoration process and is quite a story! It does run and drive, tires are fair. Body is great shape except for peeling and cracking paint as shown in photos. Not all of the cracking paint is shown but it gives you an idea. A receit shows the car was painted in 1981. During the time this gentleman had the car he paid for three interiors to be done and was not happy until the third one was a LaBonney! Fender beads are all solid as well as floor and inner fenders. Photos show floor and inner fender area and in these photos the light discoloration is splatters from a wet parking lot.... I should have wiped them off before pictures. Naturally miles are not original, there are receits from speedo rebuild in 1984. Most of the work on this was done in the 70's and 80's. Suspension and brakes were redone as well as new shocks according to papers.... 1982. While this car is not a 10 it would be easy to get it there as to how solid it is. At one time also the engine was rebuilt. He purchased this car in 1958 and the other records he had for the car from 1958 to 1969 were lost in a plant fire! So he owned it from 1958 until July 2000 when he sold it to the last owner! So... interesting car! I can store car indoors for up to 1 month after being paid for and will help load car if you send someone! Ihave no problem selling to New Zealand, Sweden or Finland!

A closer look at the 2015 Ford F-150
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Despite having to share Ford's Detroit Auto Show stand with the hot new 2015 Mustang, the brand-new F-150 was arguably an even more important debut. Why? Ford moved some 700,000 examples of its F-Series truck in 2012, making it not only the best-selling pickup truck, but the top-selling vehicle in the US, by a long-shot.
The 2015 F-150 raises the bar for pickup trucks in a big way, with big-time use of aluminum. Because of this, roughly 700 pounds have been removed from the truck's overall weight, making it even more efficient than before, while still offering all of the capability that pickup owners expect. And with a host of engines under the hood, including a new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, the 2015 F-150 will surely offer something for everyone.
During the Detroit Auto Show, west coast editor Michael Harley took a closer look at the new F-150, talking to some of the truck's engineers. Have a look at the full video, below.
American automakers fall in latest Fortune 500 rankings
Fri, 10 May 2013Not that it means anything beyond bragging rights, but if you're fixated on the positions of domestic automakers on the annual Fortune 500 list, both General Motors and Ford are still on it but they've slipped a couple of notches. The list ranks American companies and they're ordered solely by revenue. GM, fifth last year, came in seventh, while Ford fell from ninth to tenth even though both companies saw small gains in annual revenue.
GM's $152.3 billion in revenue was less than a third of that of the first company on the list: Wal-Mart, which regained the title from Exxon Mobil. Berkshire Hathaway and Apple are the firms that moved GM down. Ford, displaced by energy company Valero, had $134.3 billion in revenue.
On a side note, profitability isn't a factor, but both GM and Ford were down in this year's list compared to last year's: GM declined from $9.2 billion to $6.2 billion, Ford fell from $20.2 billion to $5.6 billion. If profits were included, Exxon Mobil would probably still be king: although the energy company made almost $20 billion less in revenue than Wal-Mart's $469.2 billion, it posted $44.9 billion in profit compared to Wal-Mart's $17 billion.
2015 Ford Mustang Convertible makes inappropriate appearance in Detroit [w/video]
Tue, 14 Jan 2014With the polar vortex fresh in the minds of Autoblog's Detroit-based staff, we're finding it funny that any manufacturer would choose January in the Motor City to show off a new and highly anticipated convertible to the general media and public for the first time. But Ford has done just that, giving us our first real peek at the new Mustang Convertible in the flesh.
The new Mustang Convertible is more or less unchanged from the standard coupe, with some subtle styling tweaks to accommodate the retractable soft top. Engine and transmission choices are identical to the hardtop, although we should expect slightly lower performance due to the hardware for the roof. Like the coupe, neither prices nor performance metrics have been published yet for the convertible.
