I am listing this for a friend and I will be trying to answer questions and have many photos I can send. This is NOT a show car! This is a very reliable driver that is driven regularly! There is no rust out  but there is some paint cracking, from 20 feet the paint looks great but up close there are some paint issues. As I said if you are looking for a show car this is not your bag but if looking for a fun car to drive this is it. It has a new carburetor, new muffle, intake, distributor and upgraded water pump. The motor does not leak oil. Starts right up and can drive anywhere. I has a 6 volt alternator upgrade and new upgraded rubber engine mounts.  Tires are like new, radiator does not leak and it has nice bright red wheels. The door panels and seats are a vinyl material  in black, the headliner and side areas are old mohair which shows some wear. The seats are good except for one small tear about size of a penny, the rumble seat is in great shape as is that area. . The under carriage is clean has had modern shocks added for driving comfort and stability. Motor runs smooth and transmission shifts nice. It also has hydraulic brakes, and  signal lights. This car is set up to drive! Ask questions, I have many pictures I can send you if you provide me with your regular email address not your Ebay account. I always suggest an on sight visit if possible.

THERE IS NO RESERVE, NO GAMES, YOU BID AND YOU ARE IN A POSITION TO WIN! DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE FUNDS TO PAY, IT IS VERY COSTLY TO ADVERTISE. ASK QUESTIONS!!!!

First retail 2015 Ford Mustang headed to Barrett-Jackson

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Want to be the very first person to own a 2015 Ford Mustang GT? Here's what you'll need to do: be in Scottsdale, AZ on January 18 for the Barrett-Jackson auction and bring a very big checkbook. Having a passion for charity isn't a bad idea either.
Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."

Ford reflects on radical Mustang concept that never reached showrooms

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

The Ford Mustang that we all know and love made major waves in the auto industry way back in 1964 by offering style and reasonable pricing with optional V8 power. Its long hood and short rear deck, combined with a low-slung and sporty cockpit, made a lasting impression in the minds of consumers and car designers alike, and its basic shape has so endured the test of time that it's still in use today.
This being the case, you may be interested to know that the first Mustang of 1964.5 wasn't actually the first Mustang at all, being preceded by a concept car that made its public debut in 1962. This concept was nothing like the car that would eventually make it into production, with a radical wedge shape and a small V4 engine sitting behind the car's two occupants, driving the rear wheels. In other words, the conceptual Mustang was pretty much the complete opposite of the production Mustang besides the name.
Ford has kindly decided go through its massive archive to bring the original Mustang concept back into the public eye. The company goes so far as to pose this question to fans of the pony car: "Should we borrow a few of these style elements for the next iteration of the Mustang?" Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout

Fri, 07 Jun 2013

Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile. Check out the KSBI TV news report video below showing before and after pictures of the tough 'Stang, as well as a video showing the newly lightweight coupe doing a smoky burnout.
