I have for sale, a nice 1931 Ford Model A Coupe. This car is not a show car, but a nice driver and very nice drag car. This car is equipped with a 10 point roll cage, with door bars.It has a ford 9 inch rear end, with 4:11 gears, and a spool. It is powered by a mildly built Chevy 350, with a 127 weiand supercharger, and a 400 turbo transmission with a shift kit with a ratchet shifter attached. This car has nice coil over rear suspension and QA1 front suspension. There is some custom interior done, involving, carpet, recovered seat, new door panels, and a inner deck lid with 31 in it as you can see in the pictures, nothing crazy. The Fuel cell and battery are located in the trunk. There is a battery shut off on back of car. It also has weld wheels on the front and rear. The rear is equipped with street et slicks. This car is a very awesome and fun car. the only things that dont work at this time are the head lights, tail lights and turn signals, as i have not hooked up the harness for this yet. I had it all wired before, but i didn't like the way it was done so i bought a painless wiring kit for it and just haven't gotten around to it. But everything else works, you can drive this car down the road right now. We raced this car a few times with this small block at our local drag strip Bandimere Speedway, which is at 5,700 ft, and this car ran 11.9 in the quarter. So this car runs good but is still street able. I have had this car forever but now it is just time to see it go. With any other question please message me or call me at 720-231-six 8 one 8
This car is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. |

What an Atlas-based Ford F-150 might look like
Thu, 27 Jun 2013Just ahead of January's Detroit Auto Show, surprising rumors pegged Ford as revealing some sort of F-150 concept, perhaps as a hurried effort to deflate some of the buzz building around General Motors' new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, which were also making their auto show debut. Those rumblings turned out to be true, as Ford rolled into the Motor City with its Atlas concept (inset, right), touting the truck's bold styling as a precursor to the next-generation F-Series.
The show truck featured all kinds of clever details, including active wheel shutters and a front air dam that raised and lowered to improve aerodynamics while preserving off-road ability. It also had a genuinely snarly face. And it's that pugnacious snout that may well be on its way to production. The good folks at TopSpeed have worked up the plausible-looking artist's rendering above by cross-referencing the Atlas concept with what little has been revealed from recent spy shots. The look is toned-down pretty dramatically from the concept truck, but its Atlas roots are clear, with a massive three-bar grille and bracket-shaped headlamps hiding a next-generation EcoBoost engine. In the rendering, the show truck's deeply contoured hood and roofline have been ditched and larger, more traditional side mirrors have been fitted - all likely concessions in the move to production sheetmetal.
While Ford has yet to officially announce when it will unveil the 2015 F-150, all signs point to next year's Detroit Auto Show - one year after the Atlas shrugged off GM's new pickups.
2015 Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival
Thu, Aug 13 2015Considered the big kick off of the major festivities surrounding Monterey Car Week, this year's Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival certainly didn't disappoint. For those unable to make it to the California coast, our own Drew Phillips was on hand to snap some of the beautiful vehicles on display for this gorgeous gallery. Held annually at the Monterey Jet Center, the event is always a feast for the eyes by collecting planes, a gang of exotic supercars, and some the top cars crossing the auction block over the coming days, like a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. The Ford GT both new and old was a major attendee at this year's party. Among them, the Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII to promote an upcoming exhibit. The classics were complimented by the latest version that has continued to keep tongues wagging. The GT wasn't the only classic with a modern update there. Singer used the posh event for the North American debut of its stunning restoration of the Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. On the more modern front, Honda was in attendance with the future NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company's engine powers. For further proof of the ritzy folks that attend this soiree, Pagani and Koenigsegg both had stands to show off their extremely quick wares.
