1930 Ford Model A Ford Rat Rod, all new build completed in October with many new parts, Roof chopped 4", channeled 4", all steel but the trunk lid, Custom satin white paint job, Black Power coated frame, Engine is a 1970's vintage Chevy 350 rebuilt with Edelbrock Carb & intake, Turbo 350 trans. Chrome alternator, Original 1932 ford Wheels, tires are 16 x 6.00 Coker classics. 1932 Ford dashboard has new full working gauge set but speedometer is not connected, Working turn signals on rear, front signal lights can be added, Steel 1932 Ford Grill shell with 3 core Aluminum raditor, Stops with front disc brakes and rear drums, steering is Flaming river reverse Corvair box, New Speedway Steering column with removable Wheel. Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva
Sun, 24 Feb 2013We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.
Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a lean, mean, Z/28-fighting machine [w/video]
Mon, 17 Nov 2014If there's one thing you can count on, it's that the renewed rivalry between the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro will never, ever cease. For every version of Ford's pony car, there's an equally potent Chevrolet. And so with the debut of the Camaro Z/28 earlier this year, Ford has responded with a track-focused 'Stang of its own, resurrecting the Shelby GT350 name.
It looks to be a fine piece of work, this Mustang, with power coming from a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 that will produce "more than 500 horsepower" and "above 400" pound-feet of torque. That grunt runs to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, and a Torsen limited-slip differential keeps everything in line.
But that's hardly the most impressive piece of the GT350 puzzle. Ford has increased the Mustang GT's chassis stiffness for duty here in the Shelby, and the coupe employs MagneRide damping which automatically adjusts based on road conditions and driver inputs. It's a first both for the Blue Oval and for the segment. And speaking of firsts, the GT350 uses a flat-plane crankshaft - something Ford has never included in a production V8 before.
