1929 Ford Model A Tudor - vin # A1692542 - up for auction with a low reserve. Ready to be restored or turned in to a "Depression Cruzer". This is a solid car and was stored indoors since 1950. The motor runs, lights do not work. The original wiring needs to be replaced because it is cracked. When I got it to restore, it had a dead short in it so I rewired the ignition system so I could get it running. Most of the interior is there, but would need to be replaced. The head liner is gone and a couple of the bows need to be re-glued. The top is not installed, but I have it and will go with the car. I also have a couple of seat covers for the front seats if the winner wants them. The paint is old and needs to be sanded and repainted. This car had been partially restored in 1950 before going into storage. I have a clear title for the car. The Mallory distributor in the pictures has been replaced with a Model A distributor. The red wheels and tires on the front in the video do not go with it and I have the silver wheels and tires like on the rear to put back on and go with the car.

Ward's reveals annual 10 Best Engines list for 2013

Ward's Auto has released its annual 10 Best Engines award winners. The 2013 list covers the full width and breadth of the internal combustion spectrum, from a spate of efficient four-cylinders to the most powerful production V8 on the planet. As always, the entries must be available in a production vehicle in the first quarter of 2013 with an MSRP of less than $55,000. The supercharged 3.0-liter V6 from the Audi S5 held on for the fourth consecutive year, and BMW earned two spots on the list with its turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbo 3.0-liter inline-six.
Ford pulled in two awards for its 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and and the supercharged 5.8-liter V8 from the Shelby GT500. Honda matched BMW and Ford with two wins of its own. Wards awarded the 2.4-liter four-cylinder from the Honda Accord Sport as well as the 3.5-liter V6 from the Honda Accord. Chrysler, General Motors and Subaru each garnered a spot on the list as well for the 3.6-liter V6 in the Ram 1500, the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the Cadillac ATS and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder the Subaru BRZ, respectively. Ford announces 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition

Ford has pulled the wraps off its anticipated 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition model, a new variant of the popular street-legal off-road specialist. In a nutshell, the "special" is all cosmetic - there are no mechanical upgrades to the truck and its 6.2-liter V8 (411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque), Torsen limited-slip differential, beadlock-capable wheels and internal triple-bypass FOX Racing Shox dampers all remain untouched.
The SVT Raptor Special Edition, which adds cosmetic enhancements to the existing Luxury Package, will be offered in Ruby Red Metallic and Tuxedo Black Metallic with box-side graphics. The interior upgrades include Brick Red seat bolsters (with black inserts), cloth honeycomb highlights and a console top finish panel.
