1929 Ford Model A Tudor 4-banger powered Hot Rod. This car was painstakingly assembled with a pre-war hot rod theme in mind. The 4 banger has been reconditioned and enhanced with period correct and very rare "speed parts". The roof has been chopped 4" and the stance lowered to achieve a super cool Rat Rod/Hot Rod look. Its finished off with 17" 1933-34 Ford spoke wheels up front, and 18" 1932 Ford spoke wheels in back, all color matched to the engine. Brand new Firestone "Gum Dipped" tires all around. The car still utilizes the factory mechanical brakes but does come with just about everything needed to do a hydraulic brake conversion. The car retains its 6 volt electrical system with new wiring and everything works as it should. This is a fun little entry level Hot Rod that has unlimited potential. This car comes with tons of extra parts as well! |

Petrolicious pays visit to tuning sensation the Ringbrothers

It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. A 1964 Ford Fairlane dubbed "Afterburner" and a 1965 Mustang called "Producer" star in this show.
Ford Mustang 50th anniversary edition brings in $170k
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Just the other day, we reported on the first Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat selling for a whopping $825,000 at auction. But impressive as that sum was, the Challenger wasn't the only sought-after modern muscle car to cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Las Vegas this past weekend. So did this rare Ford Mustang.
The last of 1,964 special-edition 50 Years Limited Edition pony cars sold for a princely $170,000, with proceeds benefiting the Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute, a branch of the Henry Ford Health System.
The pony car in question is based on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT and upgrades with a performance package and nearly every option on the book, along with a unique appearance package to set it apart in celebration of the Mustang's 50th anniversary. It's available in two exclusive shades - Wimbledon white or Kona blue - with either a manual or automatic transmission. Only 1,964 highly symbolic examples were to be built, and this was the last of them.
Mustang pinball game will feature art by Ford GT designer
Fri, 13 Dec 2013To celebrate 50 years of Mustang, Ford and Stern Pinball are collaborating on a new pinball machine that will feature the muscle car in all its glory, Polygon reports. Even better, Camilo Pardo, the guy who designed the Ford GT, will provide art for the table; Tanner Foust, Top Gear USA host and professional driver, will handle narrating duties; and a Sony Music soundtrack spanning five decades will provide the tunes.
"The Mustang is one of the most iconic, American cars ever made... What better way to celebrate 50 years of Mustang than with the launch of the Ford Mustang pinball game?" says Stern Pinball CEO Gary Stern.
Watch the promotional trailer for the upcoming Mustang pinball machine below, which will have to hold you over until pricing and availability are announced in early 2014.
