1929 Ford Model A Sport Coupe
Very rare Sport model with cloth soft top Very nice condition Model A Sport Coupe that has been very well cared for and driven with 102k original miles. It is an older restoration done in the early nineties but has held up very nicely. This car has only had 4 owners and is a very rare model with a cloth soft top. The most recent owner of 20 years bought the car from the president of the southern california model A club (at the time) who did the restoration, so you know it was done right! This car has always been a CA car and has zero rust. - It starts right up and drives and rides like new, needs nothing mechanically - has the original flat head 4 cylinder and 3 speed manual transmission - everything works on the car, needs nothing - original rims in excellent condition, very minor nicks on a couple of them - newer tires including spare - has a very nice rumble seat The paint is still in very nice condition, just look at the pics. All of the chrome on the bumpers and headlights is excellent, the only area that needs to be re-chromed is the radiator cover, please look at the pics for details on that. The interior was restored with all original materials and still looks like new, the only area that needs attention is one of the seams on the headliner has come undone, it is not a tear simply just stitching that has come undone and needs to be restitched. Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?

The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.
Hertz Penske GT latest hot Ford Mustang at the rental counter
Tue, 09 Jul 2013Just a couple days after announcing the resurrection of its Rent-A-Racer program, Hertz has revealed a new car being added to its Adrenalin Collection of rental cars. To signify its new partnership with Penske Racing in NASCAR, Hertz introduced a limited-edition version of the Ford Mustang GT, officially called the Hertz Penske GT, at last weekend's NASCAR races in Daytona. If you're like us, the rental specials remind with the original 1966 Shelby GT350-H and its later homage, the 2006 Shelby GT-H.
Visually, the Hertz Penske GT starts out with a black and yellow paint and graphics scheme as well as identifying badges, and Hertz has raided the Mustang parts bin for bits and bobs like a Boss 302 front splitter and Shelby GT500 rear valence to give the coupe its own unique look. The model has also receives performance improvements including upgraded suspension and exhaust, Brembo brakes, a retuned ECU and Recaro bucket seats. As a bonus, Penske Racing's Nationwide Series No. 22 Ford Mustang has been painted to match the new Hertz Penske GT. Other cars in the Hertz Adrenaline Collection include the standard version of the Ford Mustang GT, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Chevrolet Corvette convertible and Dodge Challenger R/T.
