1929 Ford Model A coupe hot rod rat rod these rod has 800 miles since the build was completed.
Everything is new except the body . The frame and front end and brake set up are from Speedway Motors . The engine is a 283 Chevy that is rebuilt .60 over with a fresh 350 transmission . New Disc brakes in front and new drum brakes on rear with booster . Drives straight stops straight . Croker tires and wheels , canvas top . The electrical is haywire harness with So-Cal tack that has speed , temp , battery , gas and oil pressure Eletric fan and siren horn rear turn signals front high beams has a 10 gallon tank racing seats with covers lokar shifter . The body is all steel it's rat rod style has bents and holes but it tight not all falling apart the floors are steel and it's rhino lined . Mysterious small Ford spied in Germany
Sat, 29 Jun 2013Our spy photographers have just popped off a few shots of something curious. This little runabout was spotted in Germany out testing with a current-generation Ford Fiesta. We're fairly confident the machine is a Ford, but exactly which Ford model is up for debate. The hatchback could be the next-generation Ka, but we've also heard that the Blue Oval supermini might not get a replacement. Our shooter says the five-door is a bit smaller than the current Fiesta, though there is a chance that this rig is just an engineering mule for drivetrain development. Then again, it could be a model built specifically for the South African market or China, or not a Ford at all.

Ford Focus Electric and ST recalled over lighting issue
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should begin in the middle of this month, after which owners can take their cars to dealers to have the wiring assembly repaired free of charge.

Ford Fiesta ST GRC Racecar is hungry for podiums in 2013
Thu, 07 Feb 2013As we reported earlier, the Chicago showing of this plucky Ford Fiesta ST GRC racer points to bigger and brighter days for Global RallyCross. For the upcoming season, you can expect to see Ken Block and Tanner Foust both driving the Ford racecar, and if last season's results are any indication, you can anticipate quite a few podium appearances, as well.
The Fiesta seen here was built by the Swedes at OlsbergsMSE, and will be driven in anger by Foust in 2013. Modifications are, as you'd expect, extensive, and include an engine, exhaust and braking upgrades, a racing style short-throw shifter and a limited-slip differential. As you can see, the car has been fully stripped out and caged for maximum speed and safety, too.
