For sale 1969 ford galaxie 390 XL convertible three speed (3 on tree) real survivor with less than 54,000 original miles look at picture. I am third owner bought car in 04/2011 from second owner in Illinois who had the car for twenty years in his ford dealer showroom, the first owner bought car at Ramsey ford in rocky mount Virginia, first owners name and dealer are in the owners manual purchase date 5/16/1969 he ordered car with bench seat and car still has working air conditioner blows cold cold! Galaxie has no body work done but with paint job done about 15 years ago, will need good bough job on hood and trunk as it has a fogy look. Original engine runs perfect. I had some recent work done, had intake gasket changed and put in edelbrock carburetor, still have original holly carburetor, upper arms and bushings, timing chain and gears, oil pan gasket, newer antifreeze all done early July 2013 runs and turns on perfect. Convertible is in great shape no tares, back window in convertible is glass, side button by driver side to bring top up and down needs to be replaced I put up top manual. Hide away headlights work perfect too. Working am radio, 8 / track player did not function but did not have checked out. passenger side mirror is loose, also small paint chip in front passenger side. gas gauge also not working, have small rip on driver side seat, tires are not original but in good condition. Car is truly a real survivor, fun car to drive turns lots of heads. Needs very little TLC. email me with any questions or call 6308020572.

Ford Australia debuts Ranger-based Everest SUV concept
Tue, 13 Aug 2013Ford has been in hot water in Australia ever since it announced plans to end local production of the Falcon and Territory SUV. Besides canceling a model that is to Oz what the Mustang is to America, the end of production means more than a few folks will be out of work.
Keen to prove that it has a plan for the market, Ford has unveiled the Aussie-penned Everest Concept, a rough-and-tumble, seven-seat SUV. While not a direct replacement for the aging Territory (that role will eventually be filled by either the Edge or Flex, according to Car Advice) it's an indication from Ford's brass that the Blue Oval is still committed to Australia.
To prove that fact, Alan Mullaly, Mark Fields, Jim Farley and regional execs descended on Sydney for the debut of the new concept. Ford's Australian president and CEO, Bob Graziano, said of the Everest, "Our customers, our employees and Australia can be assured that we're connected to the nation and committed to our customers through terrific products with class-leading technologies."

Ford C-Max spied with fresh updates
Fri, 05 Sep 2014The Ford C-Max hatchback looks to be getting a few cosmetic updates, as evidenced in this latest set of spy photos. Like the smaller Focus, which also received a nip/tuck for the 2015 model year, the C-Max appears to be getting a revised front fascia with slimmer headlamps and a more, shall we say, Aston Martin-like grille. Around back, there looks to be a new bumper with redesigned taillamps, as well.
In other markets, the C-Max people-mover is available with a range of powertrains, but here in the US, it exists either as a traditional gas-electric or plug-in hybrid. The C-Max's fuel economy has been a particular topic of interest lately, with its official fuel economy ratings having been lowered twice since the vehicle's launch. Sales initially suffered a bit following this fiasco, though numbers have since leveled out. It's unclear if Ford is working on any powertrain tweaks for the updated C-Max seen here, however.
Ford has likely spruced up the hatch's interior, as well, though we don't have photos of that at this time. Mum's the word on when we'll see the new C-Max, but our best guess is that it'll arrive sometime in the next year.
