Barn find, old-school Chicago hot rod!!! Car has been in storage since ~1973-74. Own a piece of Chicago street-racing history. Engine turns, car hasn't been run since early '70s. Owner's brother informed us that the transmission was broke and was taken out to be repaired; trans is missing. Wanted to get it running and drive it as a original old-school hot rod - but just have too many projects to get to it. The body is unbelievable clean. Chrome is in good shape, fender skirts, hub caps and headlight bezels are in the trunk, interior is absolutely AMAZING for its age. No rot holes. This car is truly unbelievably CLEAN AND ORIGINAL for its age. (I don't think this car has ever had paint or body work. Done Not sure? nor was owners brothers). You have to see this car in person to appreciate it!

A closer look at the 2015 Ford F-150

Despite having to share Ford's Detroit Auto Show stand with the hot new 2015 Mustang, the brand-new F-150 was arguably an even more important debut. Why? Ford moved some 700,000 examples of its F-Series truck in 2012, making it not only the best-selling pickup truck, but the top-selling vehicle in the US, by a long-shot.
The 2015 F-150 raises the bar for pickup trucks in a big way, with big-time use of aluminum. Because of this, roughly 700 pounds have been removed from the truck's overall weight, making it even more efficient than before, while still offering all of the capability that pickup owners expect. And with a host of engines under the hood, including a new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, the 2015 F-150 will surely offer something for everyone.
During the Detroit Auto Show, west coast editor Michael Harley took a closer look at the new F-150, talking to some of the truck's engineers. Have a look at the full video, below.

Tanner Foust tackles 'Ring in SVT Raptor

Here's a math problem: if Tanner Foust has a 24 hours to kill in Germany and one blue Ford Raptor, how long will it take him to decide he wants to lap The Nürburgring? Extra credit if you can get your answer precise to the millisecond.
A very truck-like and slidey lap of the 'Ring is exactly what happened when the Ford-sponsored rallycross driver took time off from set-up duties for his 'day job.' Thankfully no one even thought to worry about posting a time, but you can watch some Raptor skid marks getting laid down between the kerbs in the video below.
