1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible - 390 V8. FMX Transmission. I purchased this car about 8 years ago.  I have put less than 2,000 miles on the car since I have purchased it.  I have had the transmission professionally rebuilt. The heads and motor redone. Rebuilt brakes. Purchased new Edelbrock 4bl intake, new Holley Carb, plugs, wires, alternator, coil, chrome valve covers, chrome air filter, shocks, rims, tires. I had the radiator completely rebuilt. I had the exhaust redone. I had a new A/C - heater installed $2,500. I had the car painted Candy Apple Copper. It is a show quality paint job $8,500. I purchased an extra set of trim but I have not had them polished and installed. The motor on the convertible top works great. The car runs great. The top is like new. Carpet and interior in good shape. Gas gauge does not work and may need the float valve replaced unless it is just a ground wire loose. Car has been garaged and has only seen rain once since owned. I don't drive it like I thought I would. It just takes up garage space. Shipping worldwide as buyer is responsible to purchase and organize shipping.  Please send email if there are any questions prior to bidding as this car is being sold as-is. NO TRADES CONSIDERED. $500 deposit due within 48hrs at end of auction. NO PAYPAL for remainder. NADA online value $20,750 average retail. Hagerty online value for Condition 3 is $15,800 - Condition 2 is $21,900. Why dump money into a project car when this has had allot already done. Thank you for looking!

Ken Block shows us around his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax

Thu, Jan 22 2015

From his Fiesta HFHV to his '65 Mustang Hoonicorn, the inimitable Ken Block has some awesome machinery at his disposal. But arguably the coolest of the bunch is the RaptorTrax. Based on the previous-gen Ford F-150 SVT Raptor - the one with the steel frame and V8 engine - Block's back country snowmobile on steroids packs a set of tracks at each corner, a full roll cage, equipment rack, lighting, jump seats, survival gear... everything he could need for a trip off road. The Gymkhana master showcased the beast a couple of months ago on the slopes of Baldface in Nelson, BC, but now he's followed up with a less eye-popping but more informative clip in which he shows us everything his RaptorTrax has to offer. Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.

2014 Ford Fiesta gets fuel economy bump to 41 mpg

Fri, 07 Jun 2013

The 2014 Ford Fiesta is in showrooms now with refreshed styling and new performance ST model, but it's what isn't yet available that should help the Fiesta stand out from the growing crowd of subcompacts. Aside from the new 1.0-liter EcoBoost model coming later this year, Ford recently told us that a new Fiesta SFE trim level is on the way that should put the updated Fiesta at the top of its class for fuel economy.
The new Fiesta SFE will hit an estimated 41 miles per gallon on the highway when equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission. The current listing on fueleconomy.gov shows the 2014 Fiesta getting up to 29 mpg city and 39 highway, but the SFE will get minor aero tuning and a recalibrated engine controller to help bump the highway figure past rivals like the Chevrolet Sonic and Nissan Versa - both of which top out at 40-mpg highway. There's still no word as to when the small 1.0-liter EcoBoost will show in the US, but Ford has indicated that engine's fuel economy isn't expected to be released until October.
