Up for sale is my 1966 ford LTD. This ford has some unusual options. It has PS,PB,AC, four way flashers, factory power disc brakes, and a 390 engine with factory four barrel carb. I found it through word of mouth from a friend of a friend. It had been bought by and older gentleman many years ago and had been setting in a shed for years. I believe the last inspection was 1978. It has a super body for it's age. The only rust I saw was underneath the lip of the hood and a couple of very small spots on the lower doors. I've seen very few of these LTD 2 doors with the 390 engine and even fewer with factory disc brakes and A/C.It came out factory with a vinyl top but someone had the foresight to remove it long ago before it had a chance to start rusting. I'll tell you the good and the bad. The good: It has new water pump, new belts, rebuilt four barrel carb, new master cylinder, new read wheel cylinders, rebuilt front calipers, and a new starter. The bad: I needs a heater core and one cylinder is low on compression. I believe it has carbon under the valve because the lifter is moving as it should and all the other cylinder have good compression. I believe just about all the lights work and it stops and drive good. The interior is good but faded badly. I have a clear title in my name. You welcome to call or e-mail. Thanks for bidding. 828 781 7530

Watch this awesome R/C car chase scene made with cardboard and glue
Fri, 22 Feb 2013It never ceases to amaze us how much video production talent you can find on YouTube, especially when considering movies like Battleship actually exist on the silver screen. It's even better, of course, when cars are involved, which is why we can't stop watching this car chase between a pair of radio controlled Ford Mustangs.
Racing through a detailed set built in the middle of a public street using just "cardboard, hot glue and spray paint," this video is possibly even greater than The Greatest R/C Car Chase Ever that we saw last year. With the exception of a fruit stand and/or a plate-glass window being carried across the street, this has all the makings of a classic cliché chase scene.
Scroll down to watch the scaled-down action ensue as well as the full-scale conclusion.
NACTOY winners, and driving the Genesis GV60, Polestar 2, Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 | Autoblog Podcast #813
Fri, Jan 5 2024In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor, Electric, John Beltz Snyder. This week, we discuss the North American Car, Truck and Utility of the year winners: The Toyota Prius, Kia EV6 and Ford Super Duty (and Greg explains his votes). In other news, we talk about GM offering $7,500 incentives for EVs that lost their tax credits, another possible calendar change for the Detroit Auto Show and Stellantis potentially scaling back its auto show presence. Greg spent his winter break with the Genesis GV60 and Polestar 2, while John has been driving the Toyota Prius Prime and Mercedes-AMG GLS 63. Finally, they take to Reddit for this week's Spend My Money question, and pick a sedan under $6,000. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com.
