This convertible had restoration started and then stopped. The car was to be a frame off restoration. This car came from the state of Washington where they do not use salt in the winter. The frame is in excellent condition and has been powder coated in black. The body is in very nice condition and the only rust through is about 3-4 inches on the lower part on the passenger quarter and the two rear floor pans are rusted out. If you run the numbers the car will come back to a 289 cu in and a 3 speed. There is no engine or trannie for the car, but the pedals are still in tact ( perfect to convert to a 4 speed car ). There is another 65 Galaxie convertible that has a bad frame that will come with this car. This car is a 352 cu in, automatic car with the engine and trannie still in the car. This car has about everything you will need to finish the other car. It has the top mechanism, radiator, windshield, and a complete interior. The following parts are also included in the purchase: A nice set of bumpers, nos taillights, and nos rear light bezels. The car is what it is. Henry Ford's great grandson turned 16 on December 27, 1964 - two days after Christmas and eight months after the original Mustang went on sale. And that's just what was waiting for him in the driveway, courtesy of his father (and reigning chief executive) Henry Ford II.
The specially-prepared pony car had a pearlescent cream paintjob with narrow blue racing stripes, functional hood scoop, chrome trim, Euro-spec fender-mounted mirrors, a blue leather and aluminum interior, a monogrammed fuel cap... and a 289-cubic-inch V8 under the hood.

2014 Ford Fusion order guide reveals new base Hybrid model, equipment changes
Tue, 23 Apr 2013We've gotten our grubby little digits on the dealer order guide for the as-yet-unreleased 2014 Ford Fusion thanks to an anonymous tipster, and while there isn't much that's unexpected, there are some meaningful equipment changes to report after the rakish sedan's first year on the market.
Mechanically, the big news is, of course, the recently confirmed availability of the 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder paired with a six-speed automatic. The powertrain replaces the 1.6-liter automatic setup of 2013, though if you want a manual transmission, you'll still get the extra .1-liter of displacement.
On the equipment front, there are newly available rear inflatable seatbelts - as seen previously on the Explorer - along with a new heated steering wheel and cooled seat option on Titanium and Titanium Hybrid models (the latter two options will be late availability).
