Here is a complete and running 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 that is ready to restore or just reassemble the trim and rat rod it. The car runs and drives but the rear brakes are gone and will need to be replaced. The replacement drums are in the trunk along with all of the trim that was removed from the car. The windows are all in the car and all good, but the rear window is broken and will need to be replaced. The car is remarkeably straight as the pictures show. A little surface rust on the fenders, perfect trunk and doors, good quarters. The floors show a little rust damage but are still very solid and are not rusted through.. Likewise in the trunk. I think a good acid etching and undercoating would probably make it good to go. Please take a very good look at the pictures before you bid. I will cooperate for shipping but the arrangements and payments are the sole responsibilty of the buyer. I have clear California Title in hand. A $200 deposit by Pay Pal is required upon close of the auction. Remainder of auction total to be paid in 3 days or less. I can store the car for a reasonable amount of time as long the auction is paid in full. I have the car for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?

But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.

Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
