Up for sale is a very, very nice 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL fastback (also known as a 1963 !/2). This car has no rust and is in great shape. The interior is very sharp with no rips or splits. The car has automatic transmission, power steering and brakes. The radio hums but doesn't play and the clock does not work and neither does the horn. Lights, wipers and turn signals work as they should. Tires are almost new (approx 2,000 miles) wheels have Ford wire hubcaps. There is no spare shown in pics. but there is one with the car. Bumpers appear to have been rechromed and are very nice. All other trim is also great quality. The car started life with a 352 motor but now has a really good running 289 with headers. Inspections are encouraged and advised, just call for an appt. Sometime in the car's life the floorpans have been repaired and there are no rust holes anywhere that I could find. Ford F-150 Tremor to pace NASCAR Truck Series this weekend
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Ford's bro-tastic F-150 Tremor will be pacing this weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway. The Tremor fills a gap in the Ford F-Series lineup that we imagine the NASCAR set have clamored for - a hot-rod pickup truck.
Where the F-150 Raptor is designed to go quick on anything, the Tremor and its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 are designed to tackle the road. The 365-horsepower and 420-pound-foot EcoBoost is unchanged from the rest of the F-150 line, but it combines the shortest drive ratio with the lightest two-door body, making it a bit of hot rod.
Ford will be offering hot laps with Michigan native Brad Keselowski behind the wheel of the Tremor for fans that arrive in the Irish Hills on August 14. The main showing for the new pickup will be the August 17 race, though, when it'll lead the field at the start of the race and through cautions.
