Great condition, this is my daily driver.  Perfect commuter vehicle, it has the fuel efficient 2.5L I4 engine.  With a mix of city/hwy driving I average just under 27mpg.  On a trip to Indiana, all highway, I averaged 35mpg.

This is an SEL model, which includes:

-17" Aluminum Wheels
-Fog Lamps
-Power Heated Mirrors
-Keyless Entry Keypad
-Power Heated Leather Seats (Driver and Passenger)
-Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel w/Cruise and Audio Controls
-Dual Zone Climate Control
-LED Ambient Lighting (can change to: White, Red, Blue, Pink, etc...)
-Sirius SAT Radio
-Microsoft SYNC
-Tire Pressure Monitors, Factory Alarm (Keyless Entry)
-Traction Control, ABS, AdvanceTrac

In addition, it has the 301A package, which includes:

-Power Moonroof
-Sony 12 Speaker Sound System (CD, Bluetooth Audio/Phone, USB/3.5mm Jacks)

I have a PDF of the actual window sticker I can send if interested, just let me know.

It is also still under the 5yr/60k mile Ford powertrain warranty (including roadside assistance).

Great car, low miles, needs nothing (it just had its most recent oil change at Ford).  I have full service records.  Drives very smooth and has a quiet cabin.  I'd have no problem having it inspected at a Ford dealer before sale.  I am a neat freak, car is regularly vacuumed.  NO dings, dents, scratches, etc...  Comes with both key fobs.

Any questions, just ask.  All pics taken by me with my DSLR.

Thanks!

Automakers' rush on aluminum may result in shortage

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

Aluminum is the new buzzword in the automotive industry. The latest Range Rover and Range Rover Sport both take advantage of the lightweight material to shave huge amounts of body fat (only it's called "aluminium" over there). Audi and Jaguar have been using the stuff for years in their A8 and XJ, respectively, and now, aluminum is going mainstream, arriving on the 2015 Ford F-150.
While we're excited to see aluminum make an impact outside the premium market, its widespread adoption apparently won't come without some problems, notably in terms of supply. "There isn't an automotive manufacturer that makes vehicles in North America that we're not talking to," Tom Boney, of Novelis, the largest global supplier of aluminum sheetmetal, told The Detroit News.
According to Boney, Ford's use of aluminum on such a large scale has forced auto manufacturers in "every boardroom" to reconsider their plans following the F-150's unveiling, for one simple reason: there's not exactly enough aluminum to go around, at least in the short term. The auto industry presently only accounts for six percent of the aluminum sheet produced, but as the material is adopted by more and more brands, that figure is expected to swell to 25 percent within the next six years.

Ford reflects on radical Mustang concept that never reached showrooms

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

The Ford Mustang that we all know and love made major waves in the auto industry way back in 1964 by offering style and reasonable pricing with optional V8 power. Its long hood and short rear deck, combined with a low-slung and sporty cockpit, made a lasting impression in the minds of consumers and car designers alike, and its basic shape has so endured the test of time that it's still in use today.
This being the case, you may be interested to know that the first Mustang of 1964.5 wasn't actually the first Mustang at all, being preceded by a concept car that made its public debut in 1962. This concept was nothing like the car that would eventually make it into production, with a radical wedge shape and a small V4 engine sitting behind the car's two occupants, driving the rear wheels. In other words, the conceptual Mustang was pretty much the complete opposite of the production Mustang besides the name.
Ford has kindly decided go through its massive archive to bring the original Mustang concept back into the public eye. The company goes so far as to pose this question to fans of the pony car: "Should we borrow a few of these style elements for the next iteration of the Mustang?" New UAW boss Williams talks tough, vows 'no more concessions'

Sun, 08 Jun 2014

Dennis Williams, the newly elected president of the UAW, had some tough words for American automakers in his inauguration speech at the 2014 UAW Convention, striking down the possibility of any additional concessions from the 400,000-strong union.
"No more concessions. We are tired of it. Enough is enough," Williams said during his speech. UAW employees have not received a raise in nearly 10 years, according to Reuters.
Considering the recent strong results for Ford, Chrysler and General Motors, the union's demands are likely to carry a bit more weight in next year's negotiations. And considering Williams' tough stance, we could be in for some fireworks once negotiations commence.
