Hello everyone. For sale is this 2012 Ford Fusion SE SPORT 2.5L FWD with 11K only and 6-speed automatic transmission. The car runs and drives perfect, absolutely no any issues mechanical or electrical, drives straight, no pulling to sides or any vibration at high speeds. Engine and transmission are in good shape, smooth and there are no leaks or smoke at all. Factory features: power doors/windows/mirrors, power seat, ac, front airbags, abs, side airbags, traction control, sirius mp3 player, cruise control, spoiler, sunroof, fog lights and other more features. Clean car in and out. The outside looks nice as pictured with no major dents and scratches. This car comes with a salvage (not rebuilt) certificate/title due to an front accident, the parts replaced was front bumper and left fender, there was absolutely no frame damage, i do have pics before repair, i am a trusted seller and you wont regret buying from me. The accident did not affect the driving of this car, runs straight and no vibration or pulling to sides, car drives great. This 1969 Ford F-100 has a Cadillac CTS-V engine lurking underhood
Fri, Jan 30 2015Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.
Ford Mondeo with 1.5-liter EcoBoost debuts in China
Sat, 20 Apr 2013Does the car above, posing fancifully in white, look familiar? Well, it should. Although it wears Mondeo badges in the form you see above for the Chinese market - as it does in Europe - the car is basically the same thing sold in the US as the Ford Fusion. Of course, it's what's under that shapely skin that counts.
Ford has chosen the Shanghai Motor Show as the venue with which to unveil its 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. We'd heard about the engine before, but now we have a few performance estimates to share: 133 kW of power (about 178 horsepower) and 240 Nm of torque (about 177 pound-feet).
Those numbers pretty much confirm previous rumors indicating about 177 in each category, and it's right on par with what Ford's own 1.6-liter EcoBoost produces. Ford is claiming best-in-class fuel economy as well, but no specific figures have yet been provided. In any case, we'll surely have all the data soon enough, as the 1.5-liter mill is destined for the US Fusion in 2014.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
