This car is in great condition. Owned by my mom who has given up driving, this is one of those 1 of a kind cars...everything works, paint and interior are outstanding; mom basically took great care of her car.
Fuel economy (MPG): 24 - 27 city / 30 - 36 highway Base engine: 2.0L 110 hp I4 This would be a great second car for a commuter or for a high school or college student. It is a station wagon so it can carry a lot of stuff both inside with the seats folded down or on top with the luggage rack. Features include: Day-night rearview mirror, Adjustable front head restraints, Dome light w/fade, Full floor console, Front and rear cupholders,Bin instrument panel storage to hold more stuff along with duel door bins. 4 speakers for radio/CD player, 2 12V DC power outlets for GPS or phone charger, Light tinted windows, alloy wheels and Rear defroster. As noted I can detect no mechanical problems other than the brakes squeak when first used. It was a non smoking car. You will not be disappointed.

Ford hiring 800 more salaried workers than originally expected
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Ford is on a roll this year, with excellent quarterly earnings and better-than-expected vehicle sales leading to 800 more job opportunities with the Blue Oval. In January, Ford announced that it wanted to hire 2,200 salaried employees, but, since then, that figure has been revised to 3,000, representing a 36-percent increase over original projections. About 1,500 of those jobs remain, 80 percent of which are technical professional positions.
"Engineers and technical professionals are in as much demand as our cars, trucks and SUVs," says Felicia Fields, Ford Group Vice President for Human Resources. Helping to spur this job growth are increasing market share on both the West and East Coast and robust demand for the Ford Escape and F-150.
To find job candidates, Ford is reaching out to them via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, in addition to the company's corporate career site. The Blue Oval is also ramping up its presence on college campuses.
Fiat boss Elkann being mentored by... Bill Ford?
Tue, 26 Mar 2013Fiat Chairman John Elkann has been turning to an unusual source for advice on the car business. While speaking during an interview with The Detroit News, Elkann said he often asks Bill Ford Jr. for advice on how to proceed with the turnaround at Chrysler. "It's great to have the opportunity to share this with someone like Bill, who has experienced many things and gone through many things ... especially linked to Detroit." Elkann said.
As the Agnelli family heir, Elkann has inherited a long and fruitful friendship with the Ford family. While Giovanni Agnelli built his first Fiat four years before Henry Ford created his first vehicle, it was Ford that showed Agnelli the benefits of mass production and helped pave the way for what would become the Fiat empire.
Giovanni's grandson, Gianni, helped mentor Bill Ford when he was elected chairman of Ford Motor Company. Now, Ford is returning the favor by helping Elkann navigate the automotive industry's tumultuous waters.
