The auction is for one Ford Focus as described above. Also included if you want is a compatible trunk-mounted bike rack. I moved to NYC and now do not need the car. Condition: Less than normal wear and tear! I've driven the car only for one year, commuting locally in Austin, Texas. It has only been driven 20555 miles. I cannot overstate what good condition it's in. I have taken very good care of it. Tires are original and in great shape, the engine runs wonderfully; everything works perfectly. Features: * MP3/CD player/AUX audio input * Power door locks * Manual transmission * 37 MPG highway (my experience) * Does not smell * 2 car adapter power plugs * I'll throw in a trunk mounted bike rack * 4 door, 5 seats 2010-12-31 - I bought the car from a dealership near Austin,Tx Now - I'm selling it as I moved to the city, and I don't need it. The car is completely paid off as of a few months ago. No liens, etc. Food for thought: * I studied the Consumer Reports information on auto reliability. This Focus is near the top of the list of reliable cars, needing little maintenance. * This is a popular car. This means that replacement parts, should anything happen, are plentiful and cheap. Also, as an aside, have a personal relationship with a mechanic. Don't let any shops bend you over. * This car has one owner, and no accidents. This means it is in very good shape. Bill Ford wins National Pond Hockey Championship with employees

This past weekend, Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company, and a group of employees trekked up to Eagle River, WI for a few games of pond hockey. Team Ford took part in the 2014 Labatt Blue/USA Pond Hockey Championship, capturing its fifth title in the 50+ Tier 1 Division.
"It feels great to win," Ford, who plays on the team alongside other Ford employees, told the USA Hockey website. "It was fun to play [River Valley Pioneers] because they're great guys and we play them every year. We finally beat them, which we were due. It was a very clean game, a tough game."
The FoMoCo team managed to score seven goals to River Valley's two, and went undefeated in all five of its games during the tourney. Take a look below for the official press release on Team Ford's win.
Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out
Wed, 11 Dec 2013With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.
Ford leads top searched-for car brands on Google in 2014

With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal...
