Up for sale is a 2003 Ford Focus. Only 99k original miles. 5 speed manual transmission. Great gas mileage. Title is salvage, but everything has been rebuilt before i owned it. There is not a single problem with this car, other than the radio doesnt work, the wires short out, and just needs to be worked on. Ac blows cold and the heater is warm. There is one dent on the passenger side, by the door, other than that the body is in great condition and rust free. It has brand new tires on it, with free lifetime rotation on them, tires have less than 2,000 miles on them. New K and N air filter. New battery. New spark plugs. New fuel filter. Brand new AC compresser. New ignition. New bearing in front and rear. Horn is mounted next to the steering wheel instead of on it, it is a push button. This is a very reliable car. Mercury rises around sexy Cougar pack
Sat, May 30 2015With a slightly larger body and a more luxurious interior, the Mercury Cougar doesn't carry quite as much cachet among pony car enthusiasts as the venerable Ford Mustang. But don't try to make that argument around Cougar super-fan Mike Brown. Since starting his Cougar collecting in 1988, Brown has become an absolute expert on the model, and he claims to have owned 400 of the Mercury pony cars in that time. Ten of them are in his collection today, not to mention a heap of spare parts in the garage. Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.

Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva
Sun, 24 Feb 2013We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.
