2003 Ford Focus Se on 2040-cars
Purcellville, Virginia, United States
2003 Ford Focus SE 2.0 DOHC 4 Door Sedan. Vehicle has never been in an accident. I'm the 2nd owner and actually maintained the car for the original owner since brand new. The car runs great. Never overheated. No fluid leaks anywhere. Oil changed every 3000 miles with mobile one full synthetic. Good fuel mileage. No check engine light on. Will pass emissions. The only things that need attention are, front rotors are rusty from car sitting a few weeks, fracture in windshield from rock, the ignition lock cylinder froze up and this vehicle has the design where the cylinder has to literally be drilled out to remove. The procedure was done by myself very cleanly but new cylinder has not been replaced. It does however still start easily with the factory key. The rear seats fold down to expand the trunk space. There is no rust holes on the body and the floor is in great condition. There are a few very small shopping cart dings but not hateful at all. The body has always had a good coat of wax on it. There is a professionally installed wiring harness for an aftermarket stereo system. The exhaust has been replaced with a cat back system by MAGNAFLOW. It is stainless steel and has no leaks, sounds great and still looks great to this day. I have never been pulled over for it being too loud. I ran info through Kelley Blue Book and it came up with a value of 2847.00 but I'm asking a lower price because of the items that need attention. If you have ANY questions at all please just ask. I have no intention of deceiving anyone about any issue with this vehicle. Thanks

Meet Floyd Pullin, 102-year-old honorary president of Ford trucks [w/video]
Wed, 28 Aug 2013When we talk about trucks we often talk about how loyal truck owners are; it's men like Floyd Pullin who provide the proof. The 102-year-old man from Confluence, Pennsylvania has only owned Ford products since the 1920s, and he's done so well by Ford Trucks that the division named him honorary president for a day, not long after he took delivery of his latest ride, a 2013 F-150 STX.
That's the 16th Ford he's owned. If he bought his first when he was 16, he'd have flipped into a new car or truck about every five years. For 86 years. Not a bad run of business for either side.
Ford Trucks made a video to wish Pullin a happy birthday, which was celebrated at his local Ford dealership and was visited by a Pennsylvania state senator. You can watch it below.
RTR Spec 5 Concept shows off 2015 Ford Mustang's drifty potential
Wed, 05 Nov 2014Meet the Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 Concept, a fully functional drift car that, according to our team in Sin City, has been doling out demo drifts in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Destined to be the flagship of RTR's Tactical Performance Line, the Spec 5 Concept is, in addition to its 5.0-liter Aluminator V8 engine, chock full of performance parts that you can buy for your very own 2015 Mustang. In addition to the Ford Racing engine, the OEM parts supplier has lent the Spec 5 an aluminum radiator and a close-ratio six-speed transmission.
ASD Motorsports provided the front lower control arms, while the car itself rides on a fully customized coilover suspension. Magnaflow and American Racing have provided the exhaust system and headers, respectively. 20-inch HRE wheels, designed for RTR, are wrapped in sticky Nitto rubber.
2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering
Fri, 03 Oct 2014The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.
