Dare to be different!!! If you want to stand out in the crowd of cookie cutter 57 chevy's, chevelles, mustangs, camaros, etc then this is for you!!! I GUARANTEE no one will be pulling into your local car show in one of these.

I am listing this for a friend who has had it for a few years now and has done a ton of work to it.

This is a very rare car with only around 1,500 built so I GUARANTEE you wont see another one at any car show you cruise to in this.

The car is street legal and road ready, he has put maybe 100 miles on it since completing it the way it sits now.

If you were to put a taller gear and a bigger fuel tank in it this would make an awesome "shop truck".

Car has a healthy 70's 302 grabber out of a Maverick in it backed by a C-4 with 2800 stall and shift kit. Valve covers are old school cal custom pieces.

Rear is a narrowed 9 inch with Moser axles and Strange spool holding a 4:45 gear set. Wheels are convo pro's with NEW 18.5x31 Sportsman's

Front is a narrowed ford van axle with some vintage cragar runners.

Shock towers have been eliminated and filled with diamond plate. everything is tied together front to rear with 2x3 tubing.

Car is ready to go as is but does need some finishing, extra parts included. The little guy on the steering wheel is NOT included.

Extra parts include Factory dash cluster and harness, a fender and hood, side glass, and he does have the rear window and regulator that was never installed in the ranchero tailgate that he put on it.

Here's a short video where you can hear this beast run. http://youtu.be/Z6ksl2lglzo

2015 Ford Mustang Convertible to recreate Empire State Building stunt

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

It would have been all too easy to miss the auto show debut of the 2015 Ford Mustang convertible. It was, after all, unveiled alongside its fixed-roof counterpart at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, lumping coupe and cabrio into one debut. But Ford is evidently still intent on making its new droptop stand out. The top of the Empire State Building ought to do the trick.
Automotive history buffs may recall that, 50 years ago, Ford unveiled its first Mustang convertible atop what was then the tallest building in the world, that Art Deco icon of the New York skyline. Half a century later, Ford is recreating the feat and bringing the new topless Mustang to the same observation deck on the building's 86th floor.
Getting it up there, of course, will be no easy task. While they'd usually airlift the vehicle onto the roof or lift it by crane, the spire protruding from atop the building makes approaching the narrow observation deck too dangerous, and no mobile crane can telescope the thousand-plus feet it would take to get the pony car up there.

Ladies Love It: Ford Fiesta wins Womens World Car of the Year

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

It's official: A panel of female automotive writers has chosen the Ford Fiesta 1.0-liter EcoBoost as the Womens World Car of the Year, and it beat tough competition like the Mazda CX-5, Range Rover and Porsche Boxster S for the overall top spot.
The CX-5 and Range Rover won the SUV and Luxury Car categories, respectively, and the Boxster S laid claim to the Sports Car category, beating the runner up Audi RS5 and third place Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ (or Scion FR-S). The Audi Allroad was named the Family car of the year.
The panel consisted of 18 female automotive writers from around the world tasked with picking the best car in each of eight categories, including top vehicle overall, using criteria that women utilize when shopping for a car. That includes safety, value-for-money, aesthetic appearance, storage space, child-friendliness, ease-of-driving, color, sex appeal and environmental footprint.

How the Ford Shelby Mustang came to be

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

Even as rumors swirl that the next-generation of high-performance Ford Mustang will drop the Shelby name, Ford has released a short video telling how the legend of the Shelby Mustang came to be. In its latest installment of its video series entitled Mustang Countdown, Ford dug up some footage from Carroll Shelby to give a little insight into how this automotive icon was created.
While it's definitely interesting to hear the late legend tell the story in his own words (including numerous references to the 1964 Mustang as a "secretary's car"), it's also pretty funny learning exactly how the Shelby GT350 got its name in the first place - a name allegedly making a comeback as the replacement for the current Shelby GT500. As development work continues on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the Shelby video posted below shows that the automaker is always looking at its past - even as it looks ahead to the future.
