This is an amazing 1966 Ford Falcon with a rebuilt 302 cubic inch V8 engine that is very clean. Runs incredibly well and is a daily driver. There is a push button ignition that fires up every time first try. I have never had a problem with the car. It runs very cool as well and I recently installed a brand new radiator and put in new power steering lines. The transmission is solid -- the bands are a little loose which I like because it shifts late as it was configured for drag racing. No LEAKS!

As you can see by the pictures of the engine the car has been well taken care of, just waiting for the next person to customize the interior and have a bad ass machine. The paint job is metallic black and there are some dings etc, but I just sanded down and had it painted. It looks really clean and definitely gets people attention. It also has drag racing suspension and there are smaller tires on the front which give it a cool look!

A few features:
  • Custom gauges (tach, oil, etc) all with green LED lights in them
  • All lights, signals, and wind shield wipers work fine
  • All original leather seats tears in the two front bucket seats
  • Original hubcaps x 4 included and arm rests, and original steering wheel included
  • Drag racing suspension
  • All nearly BRAND new tires (no spare)
  • 2 sets of keys
  • Clean title and registered through November 2014

You can view a lot more photos of the car by clicking the Happy Bidding! link belowhere

I did my best to include every aspect of the car. For any other specifics please feel free to shoot me an email or come check out the car.

Leno talks racing with NASCAR racer Joey Logano

Wed, 02 Jul 2014

Jay Leno has to be under significant pressure knowing the appetite his fans have for a new Jay Leno's Garage video every week. This time, Jay takes a break from his usual format (something he's been doing with some frequency as of late) and goes back to his roots as a talk show host. There's no classic in the garage his episode with an interesting story to tell and a sumptuous exhaust note. Instead, the focus is purely on interviewing 23-year-old NASCAR racer Joey Logano about what it's like to be a racecar driver in his Ford Fusion.
Logano started racing at the tender age of six and has risen up the circle-track ranks to the big show of the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The two of them talk about what it's like to compete in the sport today compared to yesteryear, and Logano shares some racing anecdotes. Of course, they also get into what it's like to be on the racetrack controlling a car with about 850 horsepower, a four-speed manual transmission and brakes without any power boost. Scroll down to watch the video.

Jay Leno and Lee Iacocca reflect on 50 years of Ford Mustang

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Lee Iacocca oversaw the birth of the Ford Mustang back in the 1960s, rocketing the new pony car nameplate into million-unit sales territory in its initial go-round and cementing its place in the history books. Thus, we were immediately drawn to this latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, in which the funnyman hosts Iacocca for a look at the origins of Ford's most iconic sports car. The legendary auto exec is looking notably more frail than when we last saw him, but if we're being asked around as a video guest when we're 89 years old, we'll consider that evidence of a life well lived.
Serial No. 0001 is on hand for the occasion for Jay's romp through history, as is the historic Mustang 1 showcar from 1962. Of course, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT (in prototype form) makes an appearance at the end of the episode with chief engineer Dave Pericak, as well. Get some, below.

Ken Block ain't got a care about ruining his wheels

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

During a drifting session at Irwindale Speedway in California, Ken Block made a boo-boo that would send a number of drivers immediately back to the infield. But there's an answer to "What do you do when you bash the wall while drifting and your wheel explodes?" and there's completely different answer when the question begins with the phrase, "When you're Ken Block..."
Instead of us telling you how Block handled the calamity in his Ford Fiesta competition car, you can watch it happen in the video below. You can probably also guess what it is - but it's more fun to watch.
