1965 Ford Falcon Sedan Delivery-very Rare-very Original-170 Cu In 6cyl/at-nice on 2040-cars
Wildomar, California, United States
Very Rare and Original Sedan Delivery. Paint looks good from 10 feet, up close it's an amateur paint job. It gets looks everywhere you go and seems to get trophy's at car shows. We drove the car down from Oregon from the previous owner who was 76 years old. He just wasn't using the car any more. He indicated the sedan delivery started life as a bakery truck from a friend of his and he traded a mustang to his friend for it. I was going to switch parts off a Ranchero I have that was wrecked. The Ranchero has a serious drive train. I just don't have the heart to turn the Falcon Delivery into a Hot Rod. It's just too nice and original. The engine starts every time and trans works well. She isn't a power house but gets good mileage. No rattles, squeeks, it's really quite remarkable. Since I owned it, I've serviced it, put new BFG Radial T/A tires and done a brake job. We've driven it all over! I wouldn't be afraid to take a trip tonight. I've decided to fix The Ranchero and go even further with it. We just have too many cars, so this one gets to go! Naturally you will have to pick it up in Wildomar, California. I might be willing to meet and help depending on how far away. I might even bring it to you on your dime! I'm willing to pick you up at the airport-San Diego or Ontario. TERMS--Cash or bank check that clears my bank before delivery or pick up. Title is clear California. If you have question call: 951-471-0348 home--951-852-0197 cell. If you want to come see it come on out!!!

Ford Fusion production scaled back just 3 months after it was accelerated
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Three months after kicking off production of the Ford Fusion at its Flat Rock, MI factory, Ford Motor Company is taking steps to trim output in the face of heavily discounted competition from Toyota and a growing supply of vehicles.
The addition of Fusion production in Flat Rock - which also builds the Mustang - was meant to be what pushed the handsome mid-sizer past its arch-nemesis, the Toyota Camry. An extra facility building Fusions was also meant to curb the growing demand for Ford's highly profitable sedan.
But with word that Flat Rock would take "approximately" one extra week off for the holidays combined with an 88-day supply of Fusions - reportedly due in no small part to what Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas called "aggressive discounting of the Camry" - some analysts are now beginning to wonder if Ford may have overextended itself by adding a second Fusion facility to the mix.
Would a Mustang-based Lincoln look like this?
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Designer Josiah LaCalla has taken a stab at what a Ford Mustang-based Lincoln model might look like with the Continental Mark X1 concept. Make no mistake, Ford's luxury arm has made it abundantly clear that it won't be pursuing any new products outside of volume models, which means a flashy halo grand tourer like the one you see here isn't in the cards. LaColla used the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG as a basis for his creation, which explains the long nose, but we certainly don't mind the idea of a rear-wheel drive Lincoln with a cabin pushed to the aft.
While we're dreaming, there's certainly nothing stopping us from imagining what's under that lengthy hood. We like the idea of the 5.8-liter supercharged V8 from the Shelby GT500 pushing the Mark X1 down the road, but how about something a little more inventive? Something like a high-revving, buttery V12 with enough torque to push the contraption well past 200 miles per hour. Dream a little dream, people.
Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet
Wed, Oct 7 2015Not many of us have buddies with garages full of classic cars, but that isn't the case for Jay Leno and Tim Allen. Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. The two comedians did just that in the mid-'90s with a burnout battle on The Tonight Show between Allen in a race-prepped Mustang and Leno in a drag racer. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC. Let this clip serve as another taste of what to expect for the new TV show's mix of comedy and cars. After reminiscing about the old days in a gorgeous garage, the comedians get into two modern machines to reprise the classic challenge – after a little trash talk anyway. Don't worry because the YouTube series isn't going anywhere, though.
