This is a 1964 Falcon Sprint Convertible. Out of 36XX made that year there were 626 made with a bench front seat. Car is blue with a blue top and blue interior. Car has a power top that works fine (top on car is dusty but new). Front and back seats are in good shape. has good door panels but need new cardboard backs (warped). Has carpet with it but i would replace with new. Currently car's interior is out of car to finish hooking up wiring under dash and adjust windows. Car has had driver floorboard plated at some point as well as trans hump. Battery tray needs fixed in the engine compartment and passenger side quarter right at lip is starting to show signs of needing fixed. also has spot of rust under car at driver's door. Overall in my opinion car is very solid. Car's paint has plenty of chips and scratches but looks good from a distance (10ft) when all shined up. Will need a paint job in future but to me is presentable to drive. Has a '65 grille in front that is in too good a shape to take out. Car has a '68 302 in it with matching heads. Motor has been bored .40 over and has a C4 trans to back up motor. Motor has alot of chrome added to it to include chrome oil pan, oil filter cover, alternator bracket, alternator, fuel pump, trans pan, oil dipstick, etc. Radiator is new also as well as all the front suspension. Has disk brakes on front of car and drums on the back. Has new dual stainless flowmaster exhaust and sounds great to me. Car needs TLC and to be finished up to be a great car for someone. Only reason for selling is to fund two other projects. If you have any questions or would like to see couple short video clips of car running you can email, text or call. Email is Dclark027@gmail.com and phone number is (540) 461 3400. Thanks and good luck.

2015 Ford Expedition
Mon, 21 Jul 2014While the tide of bigger-is-better SUVs has been in recession since, well, the recession, fullsize utes are still very much with us. Conservative creatures that have been loathe to evolve, fullsize SUVs nonetheless remain enduringly popular among large families, livery customers, and anyone with lots of friends, relatives, and toys to tug around. With respect to Toyota and Nissan, the only players that really matter in the segment are the new-for-2015 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban, the GMC Yukon/Yukon XL, and this truck: the Ford Expedition, the latest evolution of which we just drove for the first time at a press preview in West Virginia.
Unlike the General Motors utilities, the standard Expedition and the long-wheelbase Expedition EL are not all-new, but rather are heavily refreshed versions of the same basic truck Ford started selling way back in 2007. The front fascia is where most of the exterior update happens for 2015, with a new three-bar grille design, halogen projector headlamps, and new bumper design with available LED foglamps. Despite all the new bits, the facelift breaks exactly zero ground in terms of design; in fact, it already looks dated, and will only look older once the macho 2015 F-150 bows later this year. Even less has changed out back, where the tailgate gets a wide chrome band spanning the taillamps and a new chrome exhaust tip. Other exterior changes are generally limited to colors and an all-new wheel lineup that includes a gleaming set of six-spoke 22-inch polished wheels on high-end models.
Speaking of high-end models, a new Platinum trim is positioned above the cowboy-spec King Ranch model for 2015. Both the Platinum and King Ranch get their own color combos and exterior trim finishes (satin metal for the Platinum, chrome everywhere and ginormous badges for the King Ranch) and posh, leather-lined interiors with their own aesthetic. The Expedition family also now includes a price-leading XL model, as well as XLT and Limited grades.
Ford Mustang was almost 'Imported from Detroit'
Wed, Oct 7 2015The Ford Mustang achieved iconic status nearly the moment the sheet came off at the 1964 World's Fair. And if Henry Ford II wasn't getting divorced around that time, the pony car might have been called the Torino and been marketed as 'Imported from Detroit,' according to Automotive News. We'll explain. During research for the new book Once in a Great City: A Detroit Story, author David Maraniss found an interesting connection between Chrysler's (now FCA US) slogan and the Ford Mustang. Before the pony car even had a name, the Blue Oval's advertising agency had the idea to market it as a "brand new import ... from Detroit," according to Automotive News. The vehicle would be sold as "inspired by Italy's great road cars, but straight from Detroit." The name Torino was suggested, as well. However, the real world interfered in making the Mustang Detroit's first import. According to the author, Henry Ford II was getting a divorce, and his future wife was Italian. It was therefore thought to be a bad idea to sell the future pony car as being from Italy. Things clearly changed by the time the Torino hit the streets years later. Related Video:
A closer look at the 2015 Ford F-150
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Despite having to share Ford's Detroit Auto Show stand with the hot new 2015 Mustang, the brand-new F-150 was arguably an even more important debut. Why? Ford moved some 700,000 examples of its F-Series truck in 2012, making it not only the best-selling pickup truck, but the top-selling vehicle in the US, by a long-shot.
The 2015 F-150 raises the bar for pickup trucks in a big way, with big-time use of aluminum. Because of this, roughly 700 pounds have been removed from the truck's overall weight, making it even more efficient than before, while still offering all of the capability that pickup owners expect. And with a host of engines under the hood, including a new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, the 2015 F-150 will surely offer something for everyone.
During the Detroit Auto Show, west coast editor Michael Harley took a closer look at the new F-150, talking to some of the truck's engineers. Have a look at the full video, below.
