1964 Ford Falcon Deluxe 5 Door Station Wagon (rare) Low Reserve Price on 2040-cars
Marysville, California, United States
Condition: The car is in good condition, no dents and a straight body. Has al but 2 peices of the original chrome, and it has the original roof rack which is still strong.
The interior and paint is about 8 years old. Has never been in an accident There is a little rust beneath the passenger side floorboard about the size of your palm. Its drives very well and is driven often. Its has been in a smoke-free environment. From what I understand is that this car is now rare since family cars such as wagons were the first models to end up being abused and trashed, I consider it rare since I have never come across another one before. The parking brake on the transmission is not working so it relies on its emergency brake to keep it from moving around when parked. Features: Almost all the running parts have been kept original, the engine has been rebuilt about 5 years ago, only 10,000 miles have been put on it since then. The back window on the tailgate is a working power window. It has a alternator instead of a generator. The carburetor has been upgraded to a 2 barrel carburetor. History: This car has been in my family for 3 generations, I inherited it from my mother. I have the title, which is cleaner than a hounds tooth. Payment: A 500 deposit is required within 72 hours and the rest of the bid amount must be paid within the week from when the deposit was made For example; If you paid the deposit on Thursday, you have to finish with the rest of the amount owed by next Thursday. Payment for deposit must be made via Paypal. Balance amount pay off can be made with certified check, money order, or via online such as Paypal. The buyer is the one that makes the arrangement and pays the cost associated with picking up or shipping the vehicle. Options; If you live within 50 miles of 95901 then I am okay with driving the car to the buyer myself. |

Ford Focus ST checks into Jay Leno's Garage
Mon, 23 Sep 2013In a change of pace from the high-end vehicles that often appear in Jay Leno's Garage, Ford sends its hottest hatchback (in the US, at least), the 252-horsepower Focus ST, to be featured on Leno's show. Accompanying the five-door hatch is its chief engineer, Jamal Hameedi.
Riding on stylish 18-inch wheels with summer tires and with a spoiler that doubles as a lunch tray, Hameedi and Leno walk us through the finer points of what makes the ST special, which also includes bigger brakes, torque vectoring, a manual transmission and, of course, 252 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque from the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which is made possible by 21 psi of turbocharged boost.
Watch the video below to see what Leno thinks of the global Focus ST.
Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California
Wed, 31 Jul 2013In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.
Want more? We'll let Bill Fay, Toyota's group vice president and general manager of sales lay the smack down:
First 500 European Ford Mustangs reserved in 30 seconds [w/video]
Thu, 29 May 2014We're pretty sure that any initial concerns Ford had about selling the redesigned Mustang in Europe have been lessened considerably, after the first 500 Euro-spec 2015 Mustangs were been reserved in just 30 seconds. Moreover, 9,300 people attempted to snag one of the coveted orders for the all-new muscle car. Yes, Mustang, you should do quite well across the pond.
The registration event was held during the UEFA (pronounced yu-eh-fa) Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid.
"We knew there was huge excitement building for the new Ford Mustang coming to Europe, but the response during the UCL Final was overwhelming," said Roelant de Waard, VP of marketing, sales and service for Ford's European outfit. "It was a truly special way to kick off the Ford Mustang era in Europe."
