HAS CLEAR NORTH CAROLINA TITLE THAT WAS ISSUED 05/31/88. THIS IS BEING SOLD AS PARTS CAR , PROJECT CAR, OR BASE FOR GASSER. HAS NO MOTOR, TRANS OR REAR AXLE. HAS RUSTED FLOOR PANS BUT IS STRUCTURALLY SOUND, ALL IMPORTANT AREAS SUCH AS REAR SPRING POCKETS, FRONT STRUT POCKETS, FRONT FENDER MOUNT AREAS AND SUB FRAMES, INNER FENDER WELLS AND TAILGATE HINGE AREAS ARE GOOD. THE STEERING WHEEL SHOWN IS NOT INCLUDED, THERE IS NO WIRING AND NO GAUGES. INCLUDES COLUMN, BOX, DRAG LINK,BRAKES HUBS ECT. PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment
Thu, 20 Mar 2014One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
