This little falcon had been a great car and still is for many many years to come it has a 302 v8 mated to a brand new AOD (automatic o/d transmission) and has been converted to 5 lug and has an 8.8 rear end.
As far as drive train and modifications the list is as follows:
Engine: was a efi 302 out of mustang that has been converted to carb with a holey 4 barrel which has been freshened up and all new seals along with a new billet distributor and hei type setup and a brand new aluminum 4 row radiator.
Transmission: which is brand new with warranty and had been built well with a shift kit new performance converter and flex-plate all new lines and b&m supper cooler with a trick shifter. And all locar equipment.
It also has a brand new drive line and front tires brakes and holey fuel pump.
It has had a recent repaint and all the chrome trim is there and in great shape both the inner door trim, dash and bumpers have been painted a charcoal color and both the front and rear bumpers have been shaved. It also has a clean stereo in it as well that is hidden in the glove box to avoid any cuts in the dash. As far as suspension the front has been lowered and arms shortened still runs the factory manual steering an brakes the rear has had a full 3 inch tubing sub frame fabricated for it and has been tubed and brought the leafs in - bored with air reservoir shocks (can fit a 11.5 wide tire back there). This car is a daily driver and only needs very little to be perfect. Insurance has put a soft appraisal of $13,800 on my falcon and thats where I'm starting these cars are hard to find and with all the goodies this has it would be hard to find one nicer. if interested i can send more pics and info of warranty and specs. i may be interested in a trade. Are you a new Ford Mustang SVO? [w/video]

Fri, 16 May 2014

When Ford announced that its 2015 Mustang would arrive with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, three letters came to mind: SVO. While Ford hasn't said a word regarding the rebirth of a Mustang SVO model, this latest set of spy shots shows us something very, very interesting. Allow us to explain.
The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we've spotted before - same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What's different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500's usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it's also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. We've got a video below that compares the two.

Need for Speed movie casts Mustang in hero car role

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Dreamworks Studios, Electronic Arts and Ford Motor Company announced today that the Ford Mustang will play the lead hero car role in the upcoming Need for Speed movie, slated to hit theaters next February. Of course, the Mustang didn't audition for the role like we imagine the film's star, Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame, might have. Rather, Ford and Dreamworks struck a partnership deal that meant the Mustang could skip the casting couch. The deal will also see the film's universe populated with other Ford products (gratuitously so, we're guessing), and the automaker will also help the studio promote the video-game-turned-movie next year.
The hero car in question is a special one-off Mustang created by Ford that is making its debut at the E3 video game trade show as we speak. Powered by a supercharged V8 and apparently based on the Shelby GT500, the car's been modified with a widebody kit, 22-inch wheels, larger air intakes and twin hood nostrils. Ford also provided the film's production with an F-450 truck that will be called "The Beast" in the film's story, and a second Mustang to be used during filming as a camera car.
The Mustang's movie career is really taking off, with news of its Need For Speed casting closely following last week's release of the trailer for Getaway, a movie coming out in August that stars Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez and another Shelby GT500. In addition to Aaron Paul and a modified Mustang, the Need For Speed movie also stars Michael Keaton (cop, we're guessing) and Dominic Cooper (villain, we're guessing), and is directed by Scott Waugh, who directed the Navy SEAL film Act of Valor in 2012.
