selling my 1960 t-bird. this is a rust free garage kept car since new. repainted a custom pearl white in 1961. was owned by a ford dealership owner, purchased new for his daughter in 1960.was acquired through an estate sale. car runs and drives but needs exhaust gaskets replaced and brakes are weak but still work. wouldn't take much to get running as a driver. it is a real surviver old custom paint and all,it is rust free dent free, original interior, new tires, 57 Plymouth hubcaps, lowered, just needs a little tlc. looks as good in person as it does in the pictures, 67000 original miles, chrome good.glass good. any questions please call me at 586-944-8615. do not text, I will not answer.car is for sale locally and reserve the right to end auction early. car is also sold in as is condition with no warrenty, it is a really nice car though.thanks for looking

NHTSA and Ford investigating steering issues in Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Marauder
Fri, 11 Jul 2014There may be more steering woes for the Ford Crown Victoria. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary evaluation into the Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis from the 2004 to 2007 model years and the Mercury Marauder for the 2004 and 2005 model years because the steering shaft can jam. The issue could potentially affect an estimated 500,000 vehicles.
According to the regulator, there is a possibility that the driver's side heat shield for the exhaust manifold can rust, dislodge, and then wedge into the steering shaft. If this occurs, it leads to a situation where the driver can no longer control the car.
NHTSA has received five complaints of this happening, including one alleged case with an injury. In that situation, the car was driving onto the highway, lost control and rolled over. One occupant was hurt in the accident.

eBay Find of the Day: 25-station video gaming trailer w/ bonus Ford F-250
Fri, Nov 28 2014Why, you might be asking yourself, is Autoblog showing me an eBay Motors listing for a 2006 Ford F-250 and a box trailer (with a badly cropped photo to boot)? It's not because we're highly interested in this blue-collar rig, to be sure, but rather because we're interested in throwing the greatest Forza party of all time. Housed in that innocuous white 26-foot trailer is a gamer's delight, with 25 Xbox 360 systems connected up to 25 high-definition monitors and 24 headsets to keep everyone locked into the action (one of the stations is outside the trailer). When connected up to one of two included generators, the setup allows for two-dozen combatants to square off, back-to-back and head-to-head. Sure, the Buy It Now price of $79,000 seems steep considering the trailer will need about ten grand worth of Xbox One or Playstation 4 upgrades in the near future.
