1969 Ford Fairlane in great condition, 351 windsor is bullet proof and just had complete rebuild with mild cam, mid rise dual plane intake,bigger edel brock fuel pump and carb,blue printed to around 400 hp and you can feel it, has new pcv set up, valve covers, plugs, water pump, timing chain, new hooker headers, cherry bomb exhaust (sounds awesome) flex light cooling fan,new thermostat,heater core, power steering lines,wheels, tires, new brake cylinder and brake all the way around, vehicle brakes very good, she starts right up, no smoke, no leaks and is very strong. Car has original 98,000 miles on body and has no bondo or issues there and about 230 on rebuild but is matching numbers, she is automatic 3 speed and shift great with no issues, interior is a 8/10, engine is 10/10 and exterior is 7/10 but still looks very good, she is a great cruiser and at 70 mph drives very straight with no shakes or shimmy, vehicle is ready to go and needs nothing as is on the road right now with no problems except a lot of looks!!! wont be disappointed have any question 513-649-9900 may end auction early due to local sale, winning bid to pay $500 non refundable deposit within 48 hrs ,sorry just have been burnt in the past. Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.
Ford Mustang EcoBoost has fake engine soundtrack
Wed, 24 Sep 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost represents a huge change for the Blue Oval as the first pony car in decades to be available with a four-cylinder engine. But a recent tweet (below) from Road & Track raised our curiosity about the new vehicle. Editor Jason Cammisa pulled a fuse while driving the latest 'Stang with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, and he found that both the stereo and engine went quiet in the cabin. That indicated the coupe might have some form of artificial engine sound being piped in - a feature not previously heavily reported for the model. Autoblog spoke with Ford engineer Shawn Carney who confirmed that only the turbocharged four-cylinder Mustang comes with this system, called Active Noise Control.

2014 Ford Cobra Jet announced with new colors, parachute mount
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Ford's drag-strip-ready Mustang Cobra Jet is back for 2014, and it's sporting a few changes to make it even better - both in competition and while sitting still. Rolling off the assembly line ready for duty in the NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes, production of the 2014 Cobra Jet is limited to just 50 units.
Racing upgrades for 2014 include the addition of a new three-speed transmission and a parachute mount, and while these will make the car better in the quarter mile, the Cobra Jet's new colors will make it look better tearing down the track. Buyers can now get their racecars painted up in Gotta Have-It Green or a custom, Cobra Jet-exclusive matte black hue. Ford and Ford Racing have already teamed up to make this an incredible factory drag racer with a full rollcage, massive Hoosier slicks, a race-tuned suspension setup and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. Now, if only wheelie bars came standard...
Unlike the confusing third-party ordering system announced for the COPO Camaro, all you need to snatch up a 2014 Cobra Jet is $97,990 and good timing (as the cars will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis).
