1967 Fairlane GT clone 351 cleveland 4 speed with 4:10 rear. New leaf springs (stock height), 600 holley, dual exhaust, water pump, heater core, radiator, battery, starter, alternator, triple gauge and tact. Full GT interior kit, new cd stereo and four speakers. This car is what they call a 20 footer. It is mostly solid and looks great, but the paint is amateur.
The engine has the typical edelbrock and Moroso chrome pieces that you would expect from a hot rod musclecar. The pictures posted are from two sessions (as you can tell by the trees in the back ground). A few are from thye summer, while most are from mid January of this year. I included a few pictures to show the two body blemishes (passenger side door and driver side roof panel bubbles), and the passenger seat threading on the top which needs a couple of stiches.  No games here.  This car  is a true musclecar with far more power than your stock 390 or 289 hipo.  The man who built the engine said that he used Boss heads, and I do believe him.  Of course it has a cam, but I don't know durations and that stuff.  If it is really important to you I'm sure that I can get that information.  It does sound great.  Oh yeah, one more thing, I do have the horn (trim) ring for the steering wheel but I don't have a spring to set it.  Somehow I lost it while I was putting on a new plastic retaining piece.

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a track-day weapon with 500 hp

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

Ford promises more than 500 horsepower and a torque peak above 400 lb-ft.
The wait is finally over. After months of spy shots, rumor and innuendo, Ford has officially pulled the wraps off its new Shelby GT350. Judging by the spec sheet and the promises being made - especially that the Shelby GT350 will be "an all-day track car that's also street legal" - the wait appears to have been worth it.

Ford debuts Fusion NASCAR racer that edges closer to stock [w/video]

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

The sixth-generation NASCAR Sprint Cup racecar, which will make its competition debut at the 2013 Daytona 500 this weekend, marks the closest thing to a "stock car" that the sport has seen in more than 20 years. No longer using just stickers to distinguish the different brands, the image above shows the lengths NASCAR and automakers went in order to create a racecar design that more closely resembles the individual cars they represent.
Ford, one of the more open and vocal OEMs regarding the Gen6 car's development, is giving us a closer look at its racing version of the Fusion with a pretty revealing side-by-side comparison with last years' racer (click above for an expanded view). Aside from the more realistic front end and production-like body lines, the overall shape, dimensions and proportions have also been designed to give the racecar a more stock appearance. Most of the new racer was designed by the Ford Design Center, which the automaker says was the first time it has been so involved in the design process since the 1960s. Of course, one area the Sprint Cup Fusion really differs from the production Fusion is its Ford Racing 5.8-liter V8 producing around 850 hp. Can you say Fusion SVT?

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid

No Prius Killer
As much as we enthusiasts like to rail on the lowly Toyota Prius as the harbinger of death for all we hold dear, there's no denying the machine's absolute and interminable grip on the hybrid hatchback market in the United States. Toyota has so thoroughly sunk its teeth into the segment that you can clearly hear the automaker's incisors clacking against one another with the conclusion of each financial quarter. And there's little wonder why. Buyers can plop down less than $25,000 and have a runabout that can return up to an estimated 51 miles per gallon in the city, leaving every other entry on the market with precious little gristle to gnaw on.
Enter the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. With its claimed 47 mpg combined, the funky little hatch from Europe already falls behind the 48 mpg city offered by the Prius, but that marginal sacrifice in fuel economy could be a small price to pay for buyers who want a credible alternative to the stalwart Toyota. Unfortunately, like the Fusion Hybrid, the C-Max Hybrid had trouble even approaching its Environmental Protection Agency estimates during our time with the car.
