Really nice running and driving 1967 Ford Fairlane 500. 289V8 with minor upgrades: aluminum intake manifold, new Holley 650cfm Carb, 351W heads ported, polished and rebuilt, HEI distributor. New radiator, tires, front disc brake conversion. 1yr old paint ('67 Dark Ivy Green Met.) with full strip to bare metal, fenders, hood and trunk along with doors removed for the paint. Completely rebuilt front end including new front coil springs. New battery, brand new front seat upholstry along with front seat reconstruction (sits high and firm). Torque thrust D wheels. Rebuilt transmission w/ less than 200 miles (full warranty). Needs minor trim things to be really perfect (rear view mirror, sun visor arms,etc) All in all, a good looking car. I have over $15,000 invested, asking $10,500. Not a show car, but then again I'm not asking for $25K. Out of time and money. 5/6/13 - New idler arm and bushing installed, fresh front end alignment. 5/20/13 - New Starter. Ad also on Chicago area's CL for sale locally.

We caught up with a few projects from Ringbrothers at SEMA this year: a classic Ford Mustang body rendered in carbon fiber, and a De Tomaso Pantera-based concept that made us swoon.
It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. Ford profiles surprisingly affluent Focus ST buyers

It comes as no surprise when Ford says that 32-percent of Focus ST buyers are under 35, but we weren't expecting this: the average annual salary of Focus ST buyers is $127,000. Twenty-two percent of non-ST Focus buyers are under 35, while their average annual salary is $67,000.
We like the Focus ST because it has 252 horsepower, is genuinely fun to drive and offers great value for performance-minded car enthusiasts; facts that are not lost on customers, it seems. Ford says that the Focus ST has the highest percentage of conquest sales for a non-hybrid model it sells, and that the top-four trade-ins are from Honda, Chevrolet, Mazda and Toyota. Demand for the hot Focus is strongest in Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Orlando.
"[The Focus ST is] having this kind of halo effect for other vehicles we'd hoped for when we invested in the ST brand," says John Felice, vice president of US marketing, sales and service, because it's helping to boost sales of other Ford vehicles.
