1957 Ford Fairlane 500 ! This is a rare 4 Door THIN POST Sedan. The car is owned by a famous local musician/hot rod builder who is moving to Nashville to record and play some honkey tonk. Car is a very well loved daily driver since 2010 and has been mostly driven on country roads and the highway. It has had some Kustom things added to make it look cool and ride like only a down and dirty Kool 57 Ford can. It has: -1954 DeSoto Grille -REBUILT BEST YEAR 1962 292 Y-Block totally professionally rebuilt in 2010. No smoke at all, runs like a champ! -2 Speed Ford-O-Matic Auto transmission rebuilt, works great. -MSD Ignition -Rebuilt Dual exhaust with factory manifolds, flow masters and Bellflower tips. -Rebuilt braking system with GM Dual master cylinder upgrade and new lines. -Converted to 12v electrical system with GM Alternator upgrade. -Recent new gas tank. -Electric wiper system conversion. -optima battery installed in trunk. -Factory optional 4 barrel intake with Edelbrock carb. -Custom built split rear bumpers -New Cragar Supremes 15x7 -Shaved Door Handles and trim. --Original shop manual included. -Painted Rustoleum Semi Gloss Black. -Hidden Keyless Ignition/Battery disconnect. -Hidden Trunk Access It has been owned by the seller since 2007. 2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.
Mazda Turnpike in Japan shut down for racing

Not only did they manage to shutdown eight kilometers of the Mazda Turnpike up the Hakone mountain, but they invited some of the country's premiere racers to take a drive up the hill. This wasn't just a Sunday cruise either. Featuring a BMW Z4 from the Super GT series, a classic Ford GT40, two flavors of Nissan GT-R and two takes on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, these guys came ready to run. When an opportunity to let racecars challenge a curvy mountain road presents itself, you don't squander it. Thankfully, the folks at Motorhead knew that and outfitted the course with a plethora of cameras and high-quality sound equipment to capture the action. The result is nothing short of sublime.
