Interior
Interior is in very good shape. Seats and door panels were redone a few years ago. Headliner good. window mouldings were all repainted at same time. This car has had the same owner for the last 22 years. It is not perfect but reliable and fun. It has always been maintained and taken on long trips every year. It has always been a driver and not a show car or trailer queen.  It shows well but there are imperfections and chips in the paint. It drives well and is comfortable and a/c blows cold. The only issue is play in the steering box. It has been this way for the last 22 years but new owner should replace to tighten up the road feel.   This car is in Warwick R.I. near the airport, you could fly in and drive home.

I am listing this for a relative and have described this car  the best I can. Feel free to ask any questions before bidding. You are bidding to own, not to come take a look and make an offer.  You can fly in and drive it home or have it shipped at your expense. Veiwing is possible with appointment only. Will not end early. no trades. Buying as is as described. Sold with Bill of Sale and previous registration papers. R.I. does not issue titles for vehicles older than 2001.

More 2015 Ford Mustang pricing information leaks [UPDATE]

Tue, 20 May 2014

The big news this morning was that the 2015 Ford Mustang would start at $24,425, including its destination pricing. The big news this afternoon is, well, bigger.
Mustang6G.com has come up with what it claims is pricing info for the entire Mustang line, rather than just the V6. That means we know all about the EcoBoost and GT prices now, which, when combined with the dealer order sheets we reported on last week, gives us our clearest look yet at how the Mustang can be outfitted (we're still a bit short on pricing info for some standalone options, like paint premiums and such).
The base EcoBoost starts at $25,995, while the GT rings up at $32,925.

Ford issues six recalls covering 101,000 vehicles for multiple issues

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Ford is announcing six separate recalls for a variety of issues affecting a dozen models and a total of 100,610 vehicles in North America. However, according to Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker, "None of them have caused accidents or injuries." Half of them cover fewer than 1,000 cars.
The largest recall covers 92,022 North American examples (about 83,250 in the US) of some models of the Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS, Ford Interceptor, Flex and Lincoln MKT from the 2013 and 2014 model years; the 2012-2014 Edge and the 2014 Lincoln MKX. All of them have a potential issue with the halfshaft on the right side that might not be fully seated and could move outward over time. If it shifts too far, the models may no longer be able to drive, and the condition could also allow the vehicles to roll away, even when in Park. Dealers will inspect the shaft to make sure it's seated and will replace the part if necessary.
The next-largest recall covers 5,264 North American examples (4,867 in the US) of the Ford F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis from the 2011-2014 model years. It's possible that an electrical junction box can corrode in areas with salty roads and short circuit. The problem could potentially cause a fire. Dealers will replace the box with an improved design.
