1994 Ford F-450 F-Series superduty custom truck!  This truck is in really nice shape ONLY HAVING 19,200 ORIGINAL MILES, it drives like a new one just the way it should.  The truck was built to haul a heavy trailer and has an 18,000 pound frame hitch installed under the back (2 1/2"), Brake controler and a bed liner in the bed. The dually bed was a new take off that I have had stored in my garage for years. It has dual fuel tanks and both work as well as the fuel gages. The paint is shiny black with red pin stripes, the truck does have a few chips and scratches and I am sure a small ding or two but nothing you would notice without looking directly at it, VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF!!  It has crank down windows and no power locks or Air, basic truck with nothing to break or fall apart.  This truck is my baby and is kept in the garage and rarely driven in the rain, never driven in the winter time. It has the 7.3 IDI non turbo Diesel with a ZF 5 speed transmission and Dana 80 rear with 4:10 ratio gear so it will cruse down the highway no problem!! The truck has some extras as you can see in the pictures, it shows very well and gets looks every where I take it. The seat has a cover on it but is like new and all the plastic parts are in real good shape with the exception of a few scuffs I am sure. The running boards are new and the rest of the pieces are very good! This is the F-SERIES SUPERDUTY F-450 with 10 bolt wheels, Very heavy duty.  I have it plated at 14,000 GVW!!

Please ask before you bid, All sales are final and sold as is!! $500.00 deposit through Paypal within 48 hours and the balance is to be paid in cash in person within 7 days!!  Buyer will pay for all shipping costs, I will help with loading as much as I can as long as arrangments are made before the end of auction!!

2015 Ford Mustang renders reveal look of the real thing

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

This is, according to the pony-car obsessed kids over at Mustang6G.com, the closest, most accurate rendering of the new, 2015 Ford Mustang to date. Artis Chazcron used a combination of Ford CAD images and information from assorted spy shots to assemble a fairly handsome car, albeit one that conforms to the tired cliché of being more evolutionary than revolutionary.
Now, it's very important to note that these are still speculative renders, and that they only represent the base car - that could explain the lack of the Mustang's vestigial side scoops, along with other, newer styling cues that Mustang6G seems to think will arrive on production models. Those items include a new, double-bubble roof, although the Mustang aficionados claim that even if it were present, it'd barely be visible from these angles.
The front end is pretty spot on, compared to what we've seen from earlier spy shots, while the tail, with its interesting light design is something new. The louvered taillights look quite different from the current version, obviously, though Mustang has gone the whimsical route with taillights before. Also, note the new rear diffuser uses an integrated reverse light and rear foglight, the latter of which is required for sale in Europe.

Justin Bell makes a horrible policeman

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

If you're wondering what type of person makes a good police officer, it seems a racecar driver doesn't. Let us rephrase that: Justin Bell, a racecar driver and the host of Motor Trend's World's Fastest Car Show, recently got behind the wheel of a 5.0-liter Ford Mustang police car with Sergeant Daniel Shrubb, co-founder of DRAGG (Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti), and proved that his high-performance-driving skillset is a bit too aggressive for police duty.
While it's easy to get carried away in a Mustang GT, a patrol car driver must maintain some sort of restraint while pursuing a criminal, so as not to come off as a reckless driver to the public. We'll admit, some pursuit techniques are counter-intuitive to performance driving (stay off the gas in a lane-change exercise?), but Bell's judicious use of the handbrake can't be normal procedure.
Watch "The One With The Ford Mustang 5.0 Police Car" (yes, we caught the Friends reference too) below to see some shenanigans in one of Michigan's finest patrol cars.

Why Ford's Alan Mulally would be right for Microsoft, or any company

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

That Mulally was seriously being considered says a great deal about Microsoft and Mulally.
It appears that the chatter about Ford CEO Alan Mulally possibly leaving early to take over as CEO of Microsoft is losing air pretty fast. What's pretty interesting is that it got any traction in the first place.
