1989 Ford F- superduty (450)

I have owned this truck for the last 5 years and have never drove it in the winter. There is absolutely no rust anywhere.

It has 137,000 original miles. Very clean interior, one very small crack on the drivers side of the seat.

Ice cold A/C, Cd player radio. Everything on the truck works.

Truck runs and drives just like something new. The front tires do need to be balanced as they were just put on.

The engine has 2,000 miles on it. It was a long block that i switched in after having bad head gaskets on the old motor. At the time a new oil pan, oil cooler, water pump, glow plugs etc. were put on. The clutch was done 8k miles ago.
Truck has a complete new exhaust, new front fuel tank, new rear fuel tank skid plate, all new shocks, just about new tires.

I would drive this truck across the country anytime.

The service body is a 2005 knaphiede 11'. a couple of the doors have some dents. I was planning on replacing them some day. Once again there is no rust on the body. I added the 2 2'x2'x4' compartments on the front. The drivers side accommodates a tool box and the passenger side has a 50' torch hose reel and opening for a full sized oxygen bottle.

The 100 Gal. transfer tank in the bed stays with the truck. There is 50' of hose.

The tool boxes are all new and stay in the body with the torch hose reel. I will also include the DOT certified oxy-acetylene bottle caps.

This is an excellent truck for someone wanting a service truck that will last along time and be dependable. I have a 7 month old 22' x 8' 6" deck over axle beaver tail trailer with ramps i will sell seperatly. I had it ordered at 10,500 GVW as the truck its self is 14,500 so i can legally drive the setup with out a cdl as the combined weight is 26,000. The truck and trailer weigh 13,800.

Buyer is responsible for transportation of the vehicle from Weare,NH 03281

This is a used truck and is sold asis with a bill of sale and copy of current registration.

Junkyard Gem: 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

Sat, Jan 21 2023

Ford's now-defunct Mercury Division first began using the Marquis name in 1967, on a sporty full-size hardtop based on the Ford LTD, then began offering the Grand Marquis beginning in the 1979 model year. These big, boxy luxury sedans were replaced by big, curvy luxury sedans (on the same platform) starting with the 1992 model year, so today's Junkyard Gem is one of the very last squared-off Grand Marquises ever built. The 1991 Grand Marquis (or "Grandma Keith," as many refer to it today) looks nearly identical to its 1979 predecessor at a glance, just as the 2011 model doesn't differ much from the 1992 model. Ford saw no reason to follow short-lived fashion trends with its simple, sturdy rear-wheel-drive sedan. Only two Grand Marquis trim levels were available for 1991: the base GS and the (somewhat) upscale LS. The former listed at $18,741 and the latter at $19,241, which comes to about $41,494 and $42,601, respectively, in inflated 2022 dollars). This interior would have seemed comfortingly familiar to a 1968 (or even 1958) Mercury owner time-traveling to 1991.  This is the optional "full grain leather seating surface," which cost an extra $489 (about $1,083 today). Dig those opera lights! Air conditioning was standard equipment in the 1991 Grand Marquis and its wagon counterpart, the Colony Park. The engine is the good old pushrod 5.0-liter Windsor V8, which would be replaced by a far more modern 4.6-liter SOHC mill in the '92 Grand Marquis. This engine was rated at 180 horsepower. A four-speed automatic was the only transmission available. The early 1990s ended up being the last gasp for padded vinyl roofs being considered mainstream equipment on new Detroit cars; this one was called the "Formal Coach" roof and cost an additional 725 bucks ($1,605 now). Such roofs were still available on a few cars later in the decade, but their time had passed. Why would such a clean Grandma Keith end up in a place like this? That's easy: it got T-boned directly into the right front wheel, mangling the body and bending up the suspension. This damage might have been worth fixing when the car was five years old, but it's a write-off when it happens to a 31-year-old Ford Panther. 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis Commercial - Savings Ad The granddaddy of them all, and on sale in South Texas! Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.

Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.
