Ford F350 Lariat Huge Lifted Deisel Custom Heavily Modded on 2040-cars
Princeton, Wisconsin, United States
Up for sale is a 2004 Ford f350 Superduty Powerstroke
diesel. This thing is huge! Turns heads everywhere I go. It is an extended cab
(4 door) long box (8ft. box). Has the 6.0L turbo diesel engine with 154,xxx
miles on it, a 5-speed automatic Torqueshift transmission and 4 wheel drive
(4x4). It is the Lariat package so it
has tan leather interior, lumbar support
seats, power driver’s seat, power locks, power windows, power sliding rear
window, power heated telescoping mirrors, center counsel, tilt wheel, cruise,
ice cold A/C, and overhead data display. It has the 4x4 on the floor so you
know it’s in compared to the dash switch and has the manual locking hubs which
is also nice and reliable. Apparently it has a "manufacturer buyback" title, which i didn't even know. I know the Ford 6.0 engines had a lot of problems when they came out so I'm assuming that's why. There isn't anything else it could be as far as i know, so it does have that on the title. Aftermarket interior items are blue L.E.D. dome light, Kenwood in dash dvd player with usb and ipod hookups, Cobra 29LTD cb radio, tinted windows (%25), front window drop, and quad pillar gauge with Autometer ultralight gauges (trans temp, EGT temp, boost, and fuel pressure). It’s got an aftermarket brake controller for trailers already wired in. It also has a Viper remote start/security system with a 2-way remote that works great I love that feature! Exterior has a 13” lift in the rear and a 6” lift up front
running on 37” Nitto Mudgrapplers. It has smoked out cab lights and tail
lights, with crystal markers up front, Piaa headlight and fog light bulbs,
recon L.E.D. signal strips under the doors, and a fire and ice led bar in the
back. It has N’fab running bars, Pypes 6” exhaust stacks, a custom painted
black grill and black “in box” tool box. Right before winter I had the whole
frame sand blasted and painted with por 15, which is really hard and rust proof
paint and looks amazing. Everything under the truck was gone through, blasted
and painted. It has all new Spicer u-joints front to back, every one of them.
All new heavy duty front ball joints, and one tie rod end. The axels front and
back have all new seals and new Amsoil gear oil in them. Transmission and
engine also run Amsoil and were changed at the same time, 1000 miles ago at the
most. The front driveshaft is a custom heavy duty one made by Driveshaft
Specialists of Texas that was put on last year. It also has heavy duty
adjustable rear traction bars and a dual front steering stabilizer to keep it
tracking straight. I will throw in my custom #10,000 16” drop hitch so you can
pull a trailer too, you will need it! As far as performance, there is a lot done to this truck and
puts down the numbers prove it. It has a K&N cold air intake, 4” downpipe
to 5” to 6” stacks for exhaust. I’m running River City 190cc injectors with a Garrett 68mm vgt turbo, Airdog 150 lift pump,
Alligator Diesel stainless steel braided regulated return fuel system with a
Sinister Diesel fuel tank sump. Obviously with all this it has ARP head studs,
oem gaskets, Sinister EGR delete, new oil cooler and screen, new icp and ipr
valve and sensors, as well as a Sinister Diesel coolant filter system. I am
running a custom tune from Innovative Diesel on my SCT tuner that also has the
custom race tune on it that will be included with the truck. I took it to the dyno yesterday and it put down 544 Rwhp and
973Ft.Lbs. of torque. This thing absolutely rips and sounds better than any
truck I’ve ever heard. Sounds like a jet when it’s just sitting there idling it’s
crazy. There are absolutely zero issues with the way this truck runs and
drives. It is runs super strong and handles like a car when going down the
road, you will not be disappointed! The only issues with the beast are cosmetic. The chrome rims are peeling in places, the paint in a few small spots is cracked, and the bedliner around the bottom is wearing thin. I do have a half gallon left of that i think to touch it up that will go with the truck. The box has
some big dents in the passanger side and is starting to rust around the wheel
well on the other side. It also has holes in the bed from a 5th
wheel it and other tool boxes possibly or something like that. You may just
want to replace the entire box, that would be the cheapest route I figured.
Also it needs new tires; the ones on it are shot. Other than that the only
thing this rig needs is a new owner! Also considering trades on a newer Acura Tl, Tsx or
something similar. Also looking for a Honda Cbr600RR bike. You can get ahold of me by texting Derek at 920-299-2083 or
send me a message on here and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks For looking! On Mar-13-14 at 08:31:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I pulled the truck a few times last year, this is exactly how it is set up now. Proof that it runs strong and sounds awesome! |

Weekly Recap: Ford guns for 2016 Le Mans glory with new GT
Sat, Jun 13 2015On the eve of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ford confirmed it will return to the French endurance race in 2016 and campaign the new GT racecar 50 years after three GT40s swept the podium at the Circuit de la Sarthe. The factory will back a two-team, four-car effort that will compete in the World Endurance Championship and the Tudor United SportsCar Championship running cars operated by Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. The GT racecar will make its track debut in January at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, and the driver lineup will be announced later. "But rest assured, there's quite a line forming out the door," Ganassi said at the announcement. The GT is the modern successor to the iconic GT40, which won Le Mans four straight years from 1966-1969. The racecar is a rolling testbed of Ford's latest technologies, including a powerful twin-turbo EcoBoost V6. The car also makes extensive use of carbon-fiber pieces and advanced aerodynamics. Ford tapped Multimatic Motorsports of Canada and Roush Yates Engines to aid in the development of the GT racer. The road-going version, which was revealed in January at the Detroit Auto Show, is also set to launch next year. It caps Ford's growing performance lineup, and the company has ambitious plans to launch more than 12 new sporty models by 2020, including hot metal like the Focus RS, F-150 Raptor, and Shelby GT350R. The GT embodies Ford's best tech, but news of its return to Le Mans immediately conjured images of the company's fierce rivalry in the 1960s with Ferrari and intense competition with Porsche. "When the GT40 competed at Le Mans in the 1960s, Henry Ford II sought to prove Ford could beat endurance racing's most legendary manufacturers," Ford executive chairman Bill Ford said in a statement. "We are still extremely proud of having won this iconic race four times in a row, and that same spirit that drove the innovation behind the first Ford GT still drives us today." Ford is going back to Le Mans. Somewhere, Hank the Deuce must be smiling. OTHER NEWS & NOTES 2016 BMW 7 Series arrives in the fall BMW revealed the sixth generation of its flagship 7 Series this week, which will start at $81,300 when it launches in the United States this fall. BMW is billing it as the roomiest 7 Series ever, and it measures 206.6 inches in length.
Ford Mustang Mach-E fails Sweden's moose test
Wed, Sep 29 2021The infamous moose test has claimed another casualty. This time it's the Ford Mustang Mach-E AWD Long Range, which was tested in an electric four-way alongside the Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Skoda Enyaq iV (an electric utility vehicle closely related to the Volkswagen ID.4 that is sold in the United States). According to the Swedish testers at Teknikens Varld, Ford's electric car not only failed to hit the speed necessary for a passing grade, it didn't perform well at slower speeds, either. To pass the outlet's moose test, a car has to complete a rapid left-right-straight S-shaped pattern marked by cones at a speed of at least 72 km/h (44.7 miles per hour). The test is designed to mimic the type of avoidance maneuver a driver would have to take in order to avoid hitting something that wandered into the road, which in Sweden may be a moose but could just as easily be a deer or some other member of the animal kingdom elsewhere in the world, or possibly a child or car backing into the motorway. Not only is the maneuver very aggressive, it's also performed with weights belted into each seat and more weight added to the cargo area to hit the vehicle's maximum allowable carrying capacity. The Mustang Mach-E only managed to complete the moose test at 68 km/h (42.3 mph), well below the passing-grade threshold. Even at much lower speeds, Teknikens Varld says the Mach-E (which boasts the highest carrying capacity and was therefore loaded with more weight than the rest of the vehicles tested in this quartet) is "too soft in the chassis" and suffers from "too slow steering." Proving that it is indeed possible to pass the test, the Hyundai and Skoda completed the maneuver at the 44.7-mph figure required for a passing grade and the Tesla did it at 46.6 mph, albeit with less weight in the cargo area. It's not clear whether other versions of the Mustang Mach-E would pass the test. It's also unknown if Ford will make any changes to its chassis tuning or electronic stability control software, as some other automakers have done after a poor performance from Teknikens Varld, to improve its performance in the moose test. Ford pulling out of V8 Supercars after 2015
Tue, Dec 2 2014Australian racing fans are staring down the end of an era as news breaks that Ford will no longer participate in the V8 Supercars series. Although the official announcement has yet to be made, the decision – as reported widely in the automotive press Down Under and in global motorsport publications – indicates that the Blue Oval automaker has already confirmed its intentions to its shareholders early on Monday to shut down its factory effort in the popular tin-top series at the end of next season. The move will mark the end of an era for what has become the International V8 Supercars Championship. Alongside GM's Holden division, Ford was one of only two manufacturers competing in the series from its inception in the late 1990s through last year when a change in regulations opened the door for entries from Nissan, Volvo and Mercedes. Further rule changes are expected to attract even more manufacturers to the series, with Lexus said to be first among them. Over the past eighteen seasons, the V8 Supercars Championship has been won in a Holden Commodore fourteen times, leaving Ford to win the title only four times with successive versions of the Falcon. Eleven of the cars on the grid this season were Commodores, compared to only seven Ford Falcons between two teams that will need to switch to another manufacturer for the season after next – although some could opt to stick with their Fords for one more season, even without factory support, until the open 2016 regulations take effect. The decision follows Ford's announcement last year that it will cease manufacturing in Australia by 2016, ending a 90-year presence Down Under that stretches back to 1925. Blue Oval models like the Falcon, previously unique to the Aussie market, are being replaced by imported models like the Mondeo and Mustang.
