I am selling my 1995 F350 DIESEL 1-TON DUALLY 4 DOOR MANUAL TRANS 5 SPEED 8 FOOT BED. 164,891 miles.  I require you to come/see/drive. A real nice truck ruck is for sale locally and seller reserves right to end auction early if someone comes in person. 2 brand new front tires 3 weeks ago, rear tire 50%. Truck has 5th wheel rails ( I never had a 5th wheel in it). I bought as the 2nd owner from a 70 year old man that wanted an automatic. With Ford's transmission failures I would only own a manual. I bought 2 years ago with the plans to move my bumper pull camper (which I did 2 times). I no longer have the camper/no longer need a 1 ton dually just to drive around.

The(BAD) truck has a dent in the rear bumper, usual scratches for age, both rear windows go down but need help going back up (a gear kit in the motors about a $200 repair I was told). 2 years ago the truck was $9,995.

The (GOOD) truck is in real nice shape an over-all on a 1-10  I give it at least an 8. Ice Cold Air Conditioning, Engine clean and never cleaned since I had it. Interior is nice about a 9. Drives great steering wheel is straight etc...

My feedback is 100% positive, I require you to come/see/drive. I love my truck, if you don't you will not have to buy, just that simple. My name is Steve and you can call me anytime after 6am EST till 11pm EST, my cell is 352-302-3098

I reserve the right to end the auction early, truck is for sale locally.....

What an Atlas-based Ford F-150 might look like

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Just ahead of January's Detroit Auto Show, surprising rumors pegged Ford as revealing some sort of F-150 concept, perhaps as a hurried effort to deflate some of the buzz building around General Motors' new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, which were also making their auto show debut. Those rumblings turned out to be true, as Ford rolled into the Motor City with its Atlas concept (inset, right), touting the truck's bold styling as a precursor to the next-generation F-Series.
The show truck featured all kinds of clever details, including active wheel shutters and a front air dam that raised and lowered to improve aerodynamics while preserving off-road ability. It also had a genuinely snarly face. And it's that pugnacious snout that may well be on its way to production. The good folks at TopSpeed have worked up the plausible-looking artist's rendering above by cross-referencing the Atlas concept with what little has been revealed from recent spy shots. The look is toned-down pretty dramatically from the concept truck, but its Atlas roots are clear, with a massive three-bar grille and bracket-shaped headlamps hiding a next-generation EcoBoost engine. In the rendering, the show truck's deeply contoured hood and roofline have been ditched and larger, more traditional side mirrors have been fitted - all likely concessions in the move to production sheetmetal.
While Ford has yet to officially announce when it will unveil the 2015 F-150, all signs point to next year's Detroit Auto Show - one year after the Atlas shrugged off GM's new pickups.

Ford hiring 800 more salaried workers than originally expected

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Ford is on a roll this year, with excellent quarterly earnings and better-than-expected vehicle sales leading to 800 more job opportunities with the Blue Oval. In January, Ford announced that it wanted to hire 2,200 salaried employees, but, since then, that figure has been revised to 3,000, representing a 36-percent increase over original projections. About 1,500 of those jobs remain, 80 percent of which are technical professional positions.
"Engineers and technical professionals are in as much demand as our cars, trucks and SUVs," says Felicia Fields, Ford Group Vice President for Human Resources. Helping to spur this job growth are increasing market share on both the West and East Coast and robust demand for the Ford Escape and F-150.
To find job candidates, Ford is reaching out to them via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, in addition to the company's corporate career site. The Blue Oval is also ramping up its presence on college campuses.

2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.
