Well, after much debate, I decided to part with my recently acquired truck to get a brand new loaded up gasser….. I searched long and hard to find this exact truck as it seems like it’s a unicorn… On to the details…

2009 Ford F350 Harley Edition in BLUE!

Fully Loaded. I think just about every option they offered is on this truck (see window sticker)

172K- Truck is mechanically beyond excellent, you would think it has 17k

One owner before me0 He was a Powerline supervisor, traveled the state of lousiana in this truck on the regular. If this truck had so much as a hiccup, his company repaired or replaced it. No major issues ever….

I paid 28,500 for it two months ago.

Put 2 Brand new batteries in it

4 New 35” tires (Atturo 35 12.5 20, Toyo MT clones) 1k miles on them currently

New Tonneau Cover

Full Husky Liners

LED Bed lighting wired to upfitter switch 3

Hydraulic bed assist

NAV has the PAC Module and Sub/RCA module in it so you can watch dvd/enter nav info in motion, and the RCA adapter if you want to add a sub to the factory radio

(currently the truck has a full exhaust, intake and Minimax tuner, these are not included unless you are willing to purchase them for $1500, not for sale separately until the truck is sold.)

I have 32k into the truck as it sits. I am looking to sell it as it sits minus the performance goodies for 28,500. Same price I paid before spending 1500 on tires, 200 on batteries and 300 on a tonneau.

I had all fluids check/changed as necessary by my ford dealer when I got the truck. The dealer guys were all over it remarking about how incredible the condition is. The truck runs and rides great. Has Monroe shocks, and before the 35” tires, rode like a caddy. Its still smooth now, but 35” MT’s make some noise and decrease the ride a touch. If you want to buy it without the tires, deduct $1k off the price and its all yours too.

There are no stories to tell here, the truck is very very nice. 8/10 Exterior, 9/10 interior. Only “spot” on the exterior is some paint flake on the driver side door window sill show in the pic. They painted it somewhere in the past, its about 3-4 inches long, but all the same color. Only other issue I am aware of is it has the blend door actuator click- Sounds like a CD loading on a computer) I bought a new actuator, but haven’t installed it.

Front bumper has some sandblasting from highway travel, but overall, very very nice shape.

I plastidipped the center console chrome and cupholder chrome as I hate the reflection in the sun, it peels right off. Center console need redone as it was a bit too cold when I did it.

If the plethora of pictures don’t tell enough of a story, feel free to ask questions.

Wells Fargo holds the title, as soon as truck is paid for, I will have title overnighted to you as soon as it clears (I’m told within 7 days)

You can fly into Orlando or Daytona and Drive this home, no problem at all!

Ford unveils Mustang 50th anniversary logo, plans merchandise

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

The Ford Mustang turns 50 years old this year, and this is the logo that will announce the milestone occasion on a special line of merchandise. The graphic is the result of an internal design competition, and Ford will give 50 different companies the license to use it on traditional logo merchandise like shirts and watches, along with some untraditional items like pinball machines.
Ford is going to begin the celebrations at this week's New York Auto Show and continue them throughout the year, but April 17 is the official birthday of the the pony car that just won't quit. You can expect to start seeing anniversary merchandise in the next couple of weeks.

Ford F-450 claims best-in-class towing, company abandons practice of removing items to boost payload number

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

The ongoing heavy-duty truck battle between Ford and Ram is showing no signs of slowing down. The Blue Oval is trying to remove at least one point of contention between the two brands by testing its 2015 F-450 Super Duty using the Society of Automotive Engineers J2807 towing standard, which Ram also uses. In the new evaluation, the F-450 is rated at a max towing capacity of 31,200 pounds. That's an identical amount as under Ford's own, previous test.
"We leave no doubt with customers that the F-450 pickup truck has best-in-class towing of 31,200 pounds - whether tested using our own internal towing standards or SAE J2807," said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president for Global Product Development, in the company's release.
At the same time, Ford is also changing how it calculates the F-450's payload. Instead of using its minimum curb weight as before, the brand is now using the truck's base curb weight. The revision lowers the pickup's rating to 5,300 pounds, compared to 5,450 pounds previously. The company said in its announcement that the reason for this is "aligning its payload rating practices with other manufacturers to make it easier for customers to compare vehicles." General Motors made a similar switch for its pickups in August.

Autoblog editors choose their favorite racecars of all time

Thu, Feb 26 2015

If you like cars, there is a good chance that you like racecars. There's something about the science and the art of going faster, of competition, of achievement, that accelerates the hearts of enthusiasts. It doesn't matter the series, the team or the manufacturer – there's something about racing that stirs emotions and lifts spirits. It's that way with many of you, and it's that way with our editors. With that in mind, we offer a list of our favorite racecars of all time. Of course, we'd like to hear some of yours in the comment section below. 1970 Porsche 917 Compared to some of the obscure choices by my colleagues, I feel like the Porsche 917 is almost so obvious a pick as to not be worth mentioning. Still, when coming up with my answer, my mind invariably went back to this classic racer – specifically in its blue-and-orange Gulf livery – while watching Le Mans on DVD and later Blu Ray with my dad. Long, low and curvaceous, few vehicles have ever looked sexier lapping a track than the 917. More than just a pretty face, this beauty had speed, too, thanks to several tunes of flat-12 engines over the course of its racing life. In the early '70s, Porsche was a dominant force throughout sports-car competition, and the 917 (shown above at the 1970 24 Hours of Daytona) was the tip of that spear, including back-to-back victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Largely without dialogue or really much of a traditional plot, Le Mans is like a tone poem of racing goodness. While the 917's importance to motorsports history is undoubtedly fascinating, it's still this cinematic depiction of the Porsche racer that draws me in most, especially with the volume cranked. – Chris Bruce Associate Editor 1964 Mini Cooper S How could everyone not be selecting the 1964 Mini Cooper S piloted by Paddy Hopkirk and Henry Liddon? That car, 33 EJB, took the first of British Motor Corporation's four Monte Carlo Rally wins (it should have been five, but French judges got the British Minis [and Fords] disqualified on a technicality regarding headlights... which its own car, the winning DS, was also in violation of). The tiny red car and its white roof beat out Ford Falcons, Mercedes-Benz 300SEs and scores of Volvos, Volkswagens and Saabs. This, along with the several years of dominance that followed, cemented the idea that not only could the tiny, two-tone Mini be a real performance vehicle, but that family-friendly city cars in general could be fun.
