2008 Ford F 350, Crew Cab, Diesel, 3500, 4x4, Auto Trans.
This truck is in immaculate condition inside and out, and looks better than most trucks a year old.  Interior and exterior are near perfect.
It has never been smoked in, the interior is near perfect, there is very, very minimal wear on the driver's side seat where you get in and out, that is it.  Rear and passenger seats are as new.  There are no rips, tears or anything in any way to report on the interior.  The carpet is nearly as new.  There are all-season, all-weather factory ford floor mats on the front and rear, the drivers side was replaced as it was the only one with wear on it, and it is now new.  The truck has heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, power adjustable pedals, power sliding rear window, 6-disc in-dash CD player, i-pod plug in dash, satellite radio, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power side rear view mirrors that adjust, and slide in-out power to adjust for towing, wood-grain dash.  Steering wheel can control Cruise, Stereo, and Temp. on air/heat.
Exterior has very, very minimal rock chips on the lower side of the truck from the over sized tires, other than that, no scratches dents, dings, etc.  Spray-in bed liner, Tow package, Lift Kit, 20" custom Helo chrome wheels, Nitto A/T Tires that are in excellent condition (70%(?) + wear.
Custom paint, side mirrors and front and rear bumpers painted to match the body for a very custom look.  Tinted driver and passenger windows to match the factory rear windows.
Custom power retractable step/running boards, fold in out of sight under the body when doors are closed, automatically fold out when doors open for a clean custom look.
I'm sure I'm missing something, but feel free to email me if you have any questions.
I am listing as a NO RESERVE auction, I will NOT take less than the opening bid price, please don't ask.  This is an extremely nice truck, with absolutely nothing wrong with it, nothing.  I've just had it serviced and is ready for a new owner.  I live in Twin Falls Idaho, there is an airport here, but I'd be happy to meet a buyer in SLC, UT. or Boise, ID. at the airport too if that would help.  I also intend to list in locally for sale and reserve the right to end the auction early.
Thank you.

8/16/13 There is a rub/scratch on the passenger side mirror, top of the mirror about the size of a dime, I wasn't aware was there, it is noticable in the pictures and a buyer pointed it out to me, I am having it touched up to be less noticable, but want to disclose it to anyone interested or watching the auction.

Ford taken to task by gov't for Chicken Tax end-around

Mon, 23 Sep 2013

Ford is in a bit of a pickle for importing and selling Turkey-built Transit Connect cargo vans as passenger vehicles in the US, then converting them to commercial-vehicle specification stateside in an effort to bypass a 25-percent tax imposed on vehicles imported for commercial use. Automakers are required to pay a 2.5-percent tax on imported passenger vehicles.
The Blue Oval got into trouble for this in a January ruling in which U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials asked Ford to stop the practice of importing the Transit Connect vehicles with passenger seats, then removing and shredding them. Now Automotive News reports that Ford is appealing the ruling. The 25-percent "Chicken Tax," as the tariff is often called, is 50 years old and was enacted as a response to a German tariff on chickens. Like Ford, Chrysler bypasses the higher tariff, but it does so in a different manner. It partially disassembles Sprinter cargo vans before shipping them to the US, then rebuilds them at a plant in South Carolina.
But the ruling against Ford's strategy states that it "serves no manufacturing or commercial purpose" and is there to "manipulate the tariff schedule," Automotive News reports. As Ford's appeal goes through, it is importing the Transit Connect and paying the higher tax, hoping for a favorable outcome and planning to build the next-generation Transit Connect, which it plans to launch before the end of the year, in Spain.

2015 Ford Edge holds line on pricing, starts at $28,100*

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Ford Edge gets an updated platform, bolder styling and a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine pumping out 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the 2015 model year. You might expect that all those new features would result in a big price bump, but you'd be wrong. Ford is keeping costs identical to the 2014 model with a starting MSRP of $28,100 (*plus an $895 destination charge), according to Edmunds. Ford spokesperson William Mattiace confirmed the numbers to Autoblog.
That's a pretty good deal, but the real ticket here might be the model's Sport trim. Buyers get a 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine with over 300 horsepower and standard adaptive steering for $28,600 plus destination. That's just $500 more than the base model.
Pricing for the Titanium trim has not yet been announced, but it'll be a short wait to find out. Mattiace tells Autoblog that full pricing and the configuration for the model will launch on November 5. He has also confirmed that the 2015 Edge will begin hitting dealers in the first quarter of 2015.

Ford Australia debuts Ranger-based Everest SUV concept

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

Ford has been in hot water in Australia ever since it announced plans to end local production of the Falcon and Territory SUV. Besides canceling a model that is to Oz what the Mustang is to America, the end of production means more than a few folks will be out of work.
Keen to prove that it has a plan for the market, Ford has unveiled the Aussie-penned Everest Concept, a rough-and-tumble, seven-seat SUV. While not a direct replacement for the aging Territory (that role will eventually be filled by either the Edge or Flex, according to Car Advice) it's an indication from Ford's brass that the Blue Oval is still committed to Australia.
To prove that fact, Alan Mullaly, Mark Fields, Jim Farley and regional execs descended on Sydney for the debut of the new concept. Ford's Australian president and CEO, Bob Graziano, said of the Everest, "Our customers, our employees and Australia can be assured that we're connected to the nation and committed to our customers through terrific products with class-leading technologies."
