Up for auction is a 2008 Ford F350 Lariat Crew Cab Dually 4x4 Super Duty 6.4 liter Power Stroke Diesel.

We are a car dealership ( AutoDrive Inc. ) in Fort Dodge Iowa, and I have been using this truck personally to pull my car trailer to the auto auctions.

I can tell your first hand that this truck runs perfectly, everthing works as it should and that is has NO ISSUES!

This truck has a 6.4 liter V8 PowerStroke diesel engine with an automatic transmission.

This truck has tan leather interior that is in perfect condition. The options on this truck are endless, from heated & memory seats to a tailgate step and pole.  The truck also has the Power Moon Roof, Power sliding back window, a soft bed access cover and the factory alloy wheels.

The interior is very nice.  The driver seat is worn thru on the edges like many are, the steering wheel looks and feels new, and the radio/heat/air buttons and knobs are not all worn off like many.  The truck has had and easly life and it shows in it's condition.

This truck has a clean AutoCheck / CarFax report. It has never been damaged, repaired or involved in a accident.

The truck drives just like it should. It has no known issues or flaws.

The truck starts easily even when cold, has been completely service recently (transmission flush, Fuel filter, Oil and filter changed) and is ready to go anywhere.

As I said, I have been driving the truck personally, so I can tell you anything about it.  Please call me with any questions.

We are a car dealer, so we may consider a partial "exchange".

We have had terrible luck with non-paying bidders. We would appreciate you bidding only if you are truely interested in, and able to buy.

Please call me with any questions. 515-955-3399 Dealership, or 515-571-4401 cell phone. Please ask for Jeff.

Ford Transit Skyliner Concept does discreet luxury in NYC

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

There's something to be said for luxed-out vans. They're cool, and as a means of getting chauffeured about, they're extremely comfortable and far more low key than your typical executive luxury sedan. For the 2014 New York Auto Show, Galpin Auto Sports has shown the potential of the new-for-the-US Ford Transit as an ultra-luxurious people hauler.
The Transit Skyliner Concept, which we previewed last week, sports four finely crafted captain's buckets that can be moved into different formations based on need. Want to watch a movie? The seats can be swung around to face a 52-inch screen. Riding along with some business associates? A table can be popped up. There's even a configuration for tailgating.
The materials are, unsurprisingly, pretty plush. The leather seats and wood floors (yes, wood floors in a van) look great, while the trunk and its customized luggage are a nice touch, as well.

TX officer allegedly lets 140-mph street racer go with a warning [w/poll]

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Being pulled over by the police is one of the most nerve-racking situations that a driver can go through, and it's even worse when you know that the officer has you dead to rights for speeding well over the posted limit. In this video, the driver of a heavily modified Ford Mustang with a claimed 966 horsepower at the rear wheels could have easily lost his ride for doing triple-digit speeds and street racing, but a friendly Texas police officer appears to send him on his way with a simple warning.
What's more, the driver in question wasn't just speeding - his Mustang was the camera car for a bunch of rolling street races in the wee hours of the morning on a Texas highway. The driver was more than willing to mix it up in the action, too. Eventually the cops catch on and pick the 'Stang to pull over, but not before the Ford owner runs a claimed 140 mph. With only audio to go on after the car is pulled over, the police officer seems incredibly nonchalant about catching someone who was so brazenly breaking the law. Incredibly, the patrolman actually tells the driver that he's seen everyone racing tonight but ignored them. With traffic picking up, the cop says that it's time to "cut it out" and go home for the night. As far as this video shows, that was the end of it.
Warning: There is explicit, not-safe-for-work language in the video below.

Ford files trademark application for 'Model E'

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

In early December, Ford filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the name "Model E." Historically, Ford never produced a Model E, and while automakers are known to file for trademarks they never use, some have wondered if the application might be used for a concept car.
Based on other recent events, though, it could be a legal move. In 2000 Ford sued an online start-up called Model E over the similarity of that name to Ford's industry-shaping Model T, but the judge dismissed the case citing lack of proper grounds. In August 2013, Tesla applied for trademark registration for Model E, and at the time, Ford said it would review the application. Tesla actually made two applications for Model E, one for automobiles and structural parts therefore, the other for "providing maintenance and repair services for automobiles," and there are plenty of theories about what the name could be applied to.
The Published for Opposition date for Tesla's applications is December 31, 2013, after which anyone who thinks they'd be harmed by Tesla being granted the trademark gets 30 days to register their issues. This is just speculation, but Ford's application - which was filed for automobiles only - might be about protecting what it sees as unwelcome encroachment on the name Model T, protection it wasn't able to enforce before when the stakes were only online and much smaller.
