I'M SURE THERE'S A FEW MORE OPTIONS TO LIST.  THIS F350 HAS BEEN BABIED, AND UNFORTUNATELY HAS BEEN A ROAD WARRIOR AND NOT USED IN THE DIRT.  I'M TOLD BY MANY IT'S AN ACCOMPLISHED TRUCK THAT'S BUILT CORRECTLY (WITH ALL THE RECEIPTS TO PROVE IT!).  ELMINATOR MOTORSPORTS AND RIZE DID THE LIFT AND SUSPENSION HERE IN SAN DIEGO.

THE ONLY ITEMS TO MENTION THAT DON'T NECESSARILY NEED REPAIR ARE:

  • SCUFF/ LIGHT SCRATCHES BEHIND THE DRIVER SIDE REAR WHEEL WELL.  IT'S MINOR, AND TWO SEPARATE ESTIMATES WERE BETWEEN $250-$400 TO FIX.
  • THE REAR BUMPER IS AT A SLIGHT DOWNWARD SLANT. I WAS TOLD THAT REMOVING THE (4) BOLTS UNDERNEATH AND ALIGNING THE BUMPER WOULD BE THE FIX, BUT I'VE NEVER GOTTEN TO IT.  IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE REAR VIEW CAMERA NOR THE TOW HITCH.
  • ADVENT DVD PLAYER.  THE DVD PLAYER ITSELF IS INTERMITTENT, MEANING THAT SOMETIMES IT WORKS AND PLAYS A DVD, SOMETIMES IT JUST SPINS.  IT DOES PLAY KIDS VIDEO GAMES THROUGH THE ACCESSORY SWITCH AND WIRES.
  • THE CATALYTIC CONVERTOR WAS REMOVED PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE.  IT WILL NEED ONE TO BE REGISTERED IN CA.  USED ONES CAN BE FOUND FOR $400-$500, NEW ONES ARE ABOUT $900.

I ALSO HAVE THE WELD FORGED USA RACING WHEELS AND TOYO TIRES THAT WERE ON THE TRUCK WHEN I PURCHASED IT.  I PUT THE PRO COMP ALLOYS AND DURATRACS ON ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO, AND THEY ONLY HAVE APPROXIMATELY 7,500 MILES ON THEM.  THE TIRES HAVE THE REPAIR WARRANTY THROUGH DISCOUNT TIRE.  THE TRUCK PURCHASE CAN BE NEGOTIATED WITH OR WITHOUT THE:  SNUG TOP CAMPER SHELL AND THE WELD WHEELS/TOYO TIRES.  FOR THE ASKING PRICE, ALL ARE INCLUDED.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS TRUCK, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME THROUGH EBAY AND I WILL REPLY AS WELL AS SEND YOU MY PHONE NUMBER.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS OF THE TRUCK, SEND ME YOUR REQUEST AND EMAIL ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND THEM RIGHT OVER.  THIS IS THE FIRST TIME TO THE MARKET FOR THIS AWESOME PICKUP!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISIT!

Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort

Fri, 24 May 2013

Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.

A hybrid and electric Corvette, plus we drive the Ioniq 5 | Autoblog Podcast #728

Fri, May 6 2022

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. Zac drove the electric 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Greg drove the fire-breathing 2022 Maserati Levante Trofeo. The two dive deep into the relatively heavy news week by starting off with a discussion about the upcoming hybrid Corvette before chatting about what the electric Corvette might be like. They have a chat about the possibility of Porsche and Audi officially joining the Formula 1 field. Then, Greg and Zac get into some quick-hitting news to round out the segment by dissecting the updated Kia Soul (now without a turbo), the 30th Anniversary Edition Land Rover Defender and the new CEO at Aston Martin. Following the news and drive reviews, they rope in Senior Editor, Green John Beltz Snyder to give them a quick download of what went down at the first drive for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Finally, they reach into the mailbag and answer some questions from someone who is less than pleased about infotainment systems in some new cars. And lastly, the gang hears back from someone they helped out in a prior Spend My Money segment on the podcast. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Ford and 'Dirty Jobs' pitchman Mike Rowe part ways [w/videos]

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe has one less job as of today - the pitchman is no longer a pitchman for Ford, with yesterday's announcement from Rowe ending a seven-year partnership between the TV host and the Blue Oval.
Rowe made the announcement to political pundit Glenn Beck, saying the two are "going in different directions" and wishing Ford "every possibly success that any car company could ever have," according to The Detroit News. Rowe and Ford got together in 2005, right around the time the 51-year-old came to prominence as the host of Dirty Jobs and the narrator for Deadliest Catch, two of the Discovery Channel's most popular shows.
Take a look below for a few video snippets of Rowe's tenure at Ford.
