I'M SURE THERE'S A FEW MORE OPTIONS TO LIST. THIS F350 HAS BEEN BABIED, AND UNFORTUNATELY HAS BEEN A ROAD WARRIOR AND NOT USED IN THE DIRT. I'M TOLD BY MANY IT'S AN ACCOMPLISHED TRUCK THAT'S BUILT CORRECTLY (WITH ALL THE RECEIPTS TO PROVE IT!). ELMINATOR MOTORSPORTS AND RIZE DID THE LIFT AND SUSPENSION HERE IN SAN DIEGO.
THE ONLY ITEMS TO MENTION THAT DON'T NECESSARILY NEED REPAIR ARE:
- SCUFF/ LIGHT SCRATCHES BEHIND THE DRIVER SIDE REAR WHEEL WELL. IT'S MINOR, AND TWO SEPARATE ESTIMATES WERE BETWEEN $250-$400 TO FIX.
- THE REAR BUMPER IS AT A SLIGHT DOWNWARD SLANT. I WAS TOLD THAT REMOVING THE (4) BOLTS UNDERNEATH AND ALIGNING THE BUMPER WOULD BE THE FIX, BUT I'VE NEVER GOTTEN TO IT. IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE REAR VIEW CAMERA NOR THE TOW HITCH.
- ADVENT DVD PLAYER. THE DVD PLAYER ITSELF IS INTERMITTENT, MEANING THAT SOMETIMES IT WORKS AND PLAYS A DVD, SOMETIMES IT JUST SPINS. IT DOES PLAY KIDS VIDEO GAMES THROUGH THE ACCESSORY SWITCH AND WIRES.
- THE CATALYTIC CONVERTOR WAS REMOVED PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE. IT WILL NEED ONE TO BE REGISTERED IN CA. USED ONES CAN BE FOUND FOR $400-$500, NEW ONES ARE ABOUT $900.
I ALSO HAVE THE WELD FORGED USA RACING WHEELS AND TOYO TIRES THAT WERE ON THE TRUCK WHEN I PURCHASED IT. I PUT THE PRO COMP ALLOYS AND DURATRACS ON ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO, AND THEY ONLY HAVE APPROXIMATELY 7,500 MILES ON THEM. THE TIRES HAVE THE REPAIR WARRANTY THROUGH DISCOUNT TIRE. THE TRUCK PURCHASE CAN BE NEGOTIATED WITH OR WITHOUT THE: SNUG TOP CAMPER SHELL AND THE WELD WHEELS/TOYO TIRES. FOR THE ASKING PRICE, ALL ARE INCLUDED.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS TRUCK, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME THROUGH EBAY AND I WILL REPLY AS WELL AS SEND YOU MY PHONE NUMBER. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS OF THE TRUCK, SEND ME YOUR REQUEST AND EMAIL ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND THEM RIGHT OVER. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME TO THE MARKET FOR THIS AWESOME PICKUP!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISIT!

Ford adds third shift at F-150 plant to keep up with demand
Tue, 06 Aug 2013The signs have been very positive for Ford's F-Series line of pickup trucks as of late, and after 24 consecutive months of increasing sales of the best-selling F-150, the automaker has added a third production crew at its Kansas City Assembly Plant that includes 900 new hourly workers to meet demand for the truck. This the first step in Ford's plan to add 2,000 hourly jobs at the plant to help meet demand for its trucks and to begin production of the new Transit van, the automaker says.
Despite some tough new competition, sales of the F-Series are the strongest they've been since 2006, according to Ford. The automaker sold 60,449 F-Series in July, the best sales figure for the mid-summer month since 2006, which also represents a 23 percent increase compared to July 2012. From January to July 2013, sales were up 22 percent compared to the same period last year.
Ford has committed to creating 12,000 hourly jobs by 2015, and with the 900 new employees added to the assembly plant in Missouri, the company says it has completed 75 percent of its goal. Ford has also invested $1.1 billion to retool and expand the Kansas City Assembly Plant to ready it for Transit production. Take a look at the press release below for more job and F-Series sales information.
Autocar pits Formula Ford against Germany's finest
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford has quite the racing pedigree, but usually, its racers are relegated to the track. Not the new Formula Ford EcoBoost, though. It's a turbocharged, open-wheeled racer complete with a 200-horsepower, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine... and it's legal on the roads of the UK.
That's stressed in this video from Autocar, with the mag going so far as to show the car's tax disc and license plates. Being a road-legal offering, it's tempting to see just how well an open-wheeler that delivers racecar-like performance while also netting over 100 miles per gallon (assume this is on the British cycle, for obvious reasons) stacks up against modern performance cars.
Autocar lined up the Formula Ford against an Audi R8 V10, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG in a number of situations to see which would come out on top. Take a look below for the full video.
Buyers ditching expensive European sedans to buy expensive American trucks
Mon, Feb 19 2018The New York Times ended the automotive week with a story that adds numbers and context to a range of other stories, from the crossover craze to the increasing median price of a new car to ever more grandiose pickup trucks. The NYT piece reveals that the shift to larger vehicles isn't merely about the average U.S. buyer swapping the midsize sedan for a Ford Edge. Luxury buyers are migrating from plush sedans to plush SUVs and trucks that creep close to six-figure prices, and the Detroit Three are running Treasury presses because of it. From 2013 to 2017, the truck category — everything from pickups to minivans — climbed from 30 percent of the market to 41 percent. In January of this year, trucks claimed 66 percent of new vehicle sales. At the milk-and-honey end of profits, GMC alone accounted for 11.3 percent of all vehicle sales over $60,000, not just trucks. That puts the luxury truck maker behind Mercedes-Benz and Ford, The Blue Oval's feasting on Lariat, King Ranch and Raptor versions of the F-150, which make up more than half of that pickup's sales, putting it ahead of Chevrolet, Porsche and Lexus on the high-dollar sales list. The average transaction price of a GMC in Denali trim last year was $56,000; it's easy to see why, when one dealer told the NYT he just swapped a 2012 BMW 550i for a $71,000 GMC Sierra Denali. That truck starts at $52,900. The NYT started its story with a buyer who took home a Ford Raptor instead of an Audi A6, and optioned that $50,020 Ford Raptor close to $80,000. Over at Lincoln, the new $72,055 Navigator — the one so popular that Ford will increase production — crossed hands for an average sale price of $77,000 in January. And a Jeep dealer told the NYT that the two $93,000 Trackhawks he had on his lot "won't be here more than a few weeks." While trucks head up in sales volume and price, cars are headed so viciously in the opposite direction that "the Detroit Three and even some foreign manufacturers acknowledge they are now losing money on many of the cars they sell." So ... get ready for a lot more crossovers and trucks. Related Video: Find out what vehicle is right for you. Give our Car Finder tool a try.
