For sale is my beautiful F-350 crew cab long bed diesel. I am not ready to part with this truck, however I have a family and a new job that does not require the size and horsepower this truck brings to the table. This is a 2006, Ford f-350. It has the 6.0 (zero problems to date) liter engine equipped with Ford's heavy duty torqueshift transmission. This truck is 4X4, comes with a towing package, and several features such as: 4" MBRP Turbo-Back exhaust-which elevates Ford's 6.0 engine to a T, 6" Lift Kit, 35x13.5x20" Mickey Thompson Baja tires-65-70%, Gear Alloy 20" crhome/black Rims, leather seats, upgraded radio/cd player-sound system-power rear sliding windows, cold A/C and hot heat. I usually wax this truck about once a month, to keep the bugs and tar to a min. The fornt grill has some bubbling, however from a distance it is completley un noticable. This truck is my baby, trust me, it turns heads when you drive by! I hate to part with it but at only 16 MPG, it doesn't cut it for me on the highway. Ford reveals concept trucks that ultimately became Atlas
Wed, 03 Apr 2013The Ford Atlas Concept was one of the quiet success stories of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and now Ford has given us a quick glimpse as to how that creation came to be. Designers actually combined two early sketches to build the Atlas. One, called the Bullet Train, is a futuristic, aerodynamic creation, while the other, aptly named the Locomotive, features the squared off proportions we're familiar with.
Once designers settled on the truck's proportions, they began nailing down exactly which attributes they wanted the final design to have. The Concept's notched windshield originated as a forked glass roof that seamlessly transitioned into the windscreen.
Likewise, designers wanted to fit the truck's tailgate with a storage compartment for tools and a first aid kit, but settled on the dual-purpose step/cargo cradle. Interestingly enough, the concept's active aero shutter wheels actually originated in some of the earliest sketches. Check out the photos and slides here for a closer look.

Ford spills SEMA all over its Expeditions
Sat, 01 Nov 2014If you're going to this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas, it's going to be tough to miss the Ford booth, simply for its size. The Blue Oval is bringing over a dozen customized examples of the 2015 Mustang and a quintet of modded Transits. The latest announced addition is a trio of upgraded 2015 Expeditions showing different takes on the recently refreshed SUV.
Any vehicle tuned by Dub Magazine needs to ride on massive wheels, and the Expedition (pictured above) that it has for SEMA is no exception. The SUV has 26-inch Dropstars wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, and, making them look even larger, the suspension is also lowered. The rest of the custom has some mild upgrades like mesh grilles in front, tinted windows, an integrated radar detector and new upholstery inside.
Tijn wants to boost the performance of the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 for its take on the Expedition. The company claims to add 40 horsepower to bring total output to a claimed 405 by upgrading the engine with a charge cooler from Vortech Engineering, a custom side exhaust and a custom tune. To match the extra grunt, the SUV also gets bigger brakes, an Air Lift suspension and 24-inch, copper-colored wheels with custom fender flares.
